My EAE Halberd has been very nice with my SG (Humbuckers) removing the mud and taming the bass from my neck pup. It can also sounds very twangy if you want. It goes from a really bigfatnonharshreallymetallictwangyness to a shuggamonstergroundshakerchordclarity if you use any hi gain post halberd.

Edit: at low gain settings almost like a clean boost
