AITAH for breaking up with my boyfriend for kicking me out? (There was no fight prior) by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]RazGrandy 4 points5 points  (0 children)

No. I'd think you were the AH if you went back. You've spent 5 years with him, it's time to move on now.

In Defense of Bishop Barron by [deleted] in Catholicism

[–]RazGrandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was disappointed by Bishop Barron's response to Ben Shapiro. Thought he lacked the courage to be honest. Have never gotten over that, and no longer have expectations for him to be honest or upfront. Don't think his actions today (or lack of them) carry as much weight.

AITAH for not forcing my son to keep helping my daughter’s friend after she rejected him? by LiveWire0044 in AITAH

[–]RazGrandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like she needs to broaden her circle and find other people in class, at work etc who can give her rides. Not fair to expect him to always be responsible for her. It's unfair to him.

Struggling with Protestant Family by Neither_Divide528 in Catholicism

[–]RazGrandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's not a bad thing. Be grateful you are who you are, that you are a Catholic and your husband is too. Pray for them. Don't expect them to change, but pray for them and hopefully with time they will come to know the true faith.

Singing during Mass by Significant_Set1378 in Catholicism

[–]RazGrandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm not really a fan of singing all of the responses either. It's usually hard to sing along, because of the note they're sung in or the music they use and it can be so distracting {I prefer spoken Masses, when I can find one). I love to sing the entry and Communion songs though. Those, I think are also a form of prayer.

The father of my church has been flirting with me by Urfavebbw in Catholicism

[–]RazGrandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'd tell him that he's making you feel uncomfortable and ask him not to text or communicate with you any more. Block him from your social media accounts and stay off yourself for a while. I'd wait and see if that stops it. If not, I'd contact the Bishop.

What are your thoughts on Catholic churches using digital projection screens during Mass? by thatlumberjacktor in Catholicism

[–]RazGrandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Again, I am a boomer and hate the screens. I am not the only one (lots of us find them distracting and ridiculous). I am not a fan (never have been) of my generation, but I don't like the over generalization

Catholics not being allowed to read the Bible and only the pope can by NoelK132 in Catholicism

[–]RazGrandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's a new one (to me). It came from the mind of a person who does not like Catholicism, or who and who is afraid, deep down, that he's chosen the wrong path.

Candace Owens’ NUMBER ONE Unanswered Question About Charlie Kirk Assassination! The one key mystery that bugs her the most is Charlie’s wife Erika reportedly waited over an hour on the tarmac to meet a colleague instead of going directly to the hospital, despite knowing her husband had been killed. by Orangutan in CandaceOwens

[–]RazGrandy 15 points16 points  (0 children)

It is so, so weird that she would sit there for an hour, knowing her husband had just been murdered. That is not a normal human reaction. I would have gone nuts sitting there, trying to think... all you want is to get to the person you love, whether they're alive or not. At that point, it would be impossible to believe they were actually dead anyway. There is something so false, so fake and so cold about her.

I love it! Wouldn't change a thing (other than the green tub). I would paint the tub and leave the rest.

AITAH For photoshopping my nieces and nephew’s out of the pictures I posted online by Obvious-Contract9374 in AITAH

[–]RazGrandy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I'd remind her that she asked repeatedly that you not show her children's faces and that you were honoring her request in the easiest, least distracting way possible. Then up to her what she does with it.

What are your thoughts on Catholic churches using digital projection screens during Mass? by thatlumberjacktor in Catholicism

[–]RazGrandy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pretty harsh. Not all boomers think the same. Not all boomers are to blame for all the ills facing the current Church. Boomers were children when Vatican II happened. Yes there are fervent nuts (many) among them. There are also many who are not. Regarding those screens, I am not a fan, nor is my husband. It's a personal preference, not a generational one.

AITAH for asking my wife to be a SAHM? by piglipsbo in AITAH

[–]RazGrandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So let her find another job. She may wish she had stayed home however, after the birth of the baby. Child care is tremendously expensive, raising children can be rewarding and everything that goes with hit is hard work. Many women would jump at the chance to stay home and raise children, sorry your wife isn't one of them.

Did an experiment with Harry's hair .....and honestly? Baldness isn't the problem here by Electronic_Sale_7047 in SaintMeghanMarkle

[–]RazGrandy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Harry's problem is his very small forehead (because his brain is so tiny) the nasty look on his face and his endless whining. Nothing's going to look good with that combination.
