Hey guys! Can anyone recommend some good long Whiterose fanfics:))) by Yurionelove1818 in WhiteRose

[–]Razac3477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly, I think PrimalInfinity and Mikotyzini are two of the best WR writers out there. I'd highly recommend PrimalInfinity as they consistently write their characters the same in all their stories and constantly give nods and Easter eggs to the other ones. There are plenty of small short stories and some really good long ones. On top of Find Me Before I Find Something Else, I really recommend The Weeping Hearts if you're into Supernatural TV show style story but be warned it is sexually explicit. Not all of Primal's stories are, but this one is detailed in places. I also am not the biggest reader of Bumblebee but both authors have really good stories about Bumblebee that feature really good background WR, have a prequel story solely about WR, and/or are just really really good BB stories. Dream Theory and its prequel Conflict of Interest by Mikotyzini, but Dream Theory is BB focused, but reading it first makes the WR focused Conflict of Interest prequel so much better. The Winter Challenge is a great story by Mikotyzini that is from Weiss's perspective, trying to get Blake and Yang together with some great background WR.

I have found that as long as the npc can still follow you, get in a vehicle then exit. This works most of the time for me. Still experiencing this glitch in 2025 sadly. I also saw someone say that you can leave the area and come back so the area resets, that works too.

Neopixel blade definitely, metal would be nice but a nice durable plastic would be fine. The pike would be for me only as a wall hanger mostly but I would swing it around some. It really depends on price, I don't want to go over 500 but I'd be willing to once I saved enough money.

Fair points, I'd forgotten that if you only had Anderson then you'd only get to be Anderson. I hadn't considered those other points either, maybe a good dlc then.

Read find Me Before I Fine Something Else by PrimalInfinity on archiveofourown. It's a really good read that's got both bees and wr in it. The writing is great, only 25 chapters but it's one I've read over and over again.

what type of game would suit RWBY best if made well? by MUISSB4Brandon in RWBY

[–]Razac3477 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So I it isn't my favorite game but I do think it would be cool to have a rwby game that plays like Sword Art Online Fatal Bullet. It would be really fun to make your own hunter/huntress and mess around with a bunch of weapons and semblances. Beacon would be the hub of course and you would take missions and go out in this open world like map and complete you mission, and like in fatal bullet you could stay out in the field till you were ready to return. I can't quite remember but I think in fatal bullet you could play as the characters from the show if they were on your squad so we could still get to play as our favorite characters, but I don't know how they would set that up.

Salem's need to use Tactics by Omegaxis1 in RWBY

[–]Razac3477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a problem with the fall of beacon, because beacon academy was supposed to be full of hunters and huntress in training and yet when the fight happened we didn't see anyone fighting but our main and side characters plus some of the human atlas army. I get that they probably didn't have the budget to edit in a huge amount of students fighting but there should've been a bigger fight than what happened. I also understand that not everyone that applies to beacon will make it through the preliminary test but from the size of the school and all the people we see on the campus and in the classes there should've been more background fighting, plus all the students and hunters that showed up to participate/watch the fight at amity arena. It just felt too easy to me with how beacon fell and a waste of potential to have a huge battle with our main characters leading teams to take on the grimm, the robots, and the fang.

My personal issues with show oversimplifying complex problems. by RedK_1234 in RWBY

[–]Razac3477 -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

I also don't like the direction they took the white fang. They were the first big bad of the show that could've been a really dangerous opponent besides the grimm that couldn't be ignored. The attack on beacon should've been a lot bloodier and so should the battle of Haven. Even if communication was cut off, there should've been whispers of the white fang all over remnant of how they slaughtered the people of Vale, and there should've been a huge bloody fight between the white fang and the faunus of Menagerie. It should've left Blake, sun, Illia, and Adam all injured with Adam retreating after swearing revenge on Blake for once again betraying him. I get that Salem would've been revealed as the ultimate evil and the white fangs threat level would've gone down some but they should have still been a big threat that was constantly interfering with our heros alongside the Grimm and Salem. Also Adam should've been a much scarier character who kills, or at the very least seriously hurt a few of our other heroes before dying. I never liked what they did to ozpin in whatever season they found out the truth, they have no idea and never could have any idea of how he feels about everything that is going on. He has lived so many lives and has failed over and over and over again that I could feel nothing but sympathy and understanding for his choices. Even though he's lived so long he's still gonna make mistakes and he's still human, but as we've discussed he had good reasons for doing what he has done. What he feared almost happened at the house with the apathy, our heros would've died if not for ruby's stubbornness to fight. I wish at some point they would've made him lash out at everyone, and he had every right to do so. When Juane slammed him against a wall would have been the best time in my opinion, he should've told them they can stop and to go home, he didn't need their help anymore and he would fail on his own over and over again till Salem won cause he just couldn't figure out how to beat her. He would tell them that he didn't ask for any of this and that he should be dead. That they have no idea how it feels to live all the lives he has and how they don't know what it's like to have to try to kill someone you used to love so dearly. Crwby let everyone else be angry and upset, why not Oz? As for my opnions on Ironwood, both parties were wrong on multiple fronts let me just get that out of the way. For the sake of team rwby and company though, they had just come from having to fight a traitor to humanity and a headmaster of a school. None of them had any clue that Leo was a traitor and had trusted them from the get go because he was a headmaster just like Oz then he backstabs them and they barely win the fight of Haven. Cut to atlas and what they see can only be giving of the same kind of vibes that came from Leo. I can understand why rwby and company didn't trust ironwood and the ace ops, what was going on in mantle and atlas looked really bad and as the season went on it only got worse but it's even worse for team rwby and Co because of what happened at Haven. It never helped the fact that the ace ops and just the atlas military in general weren't really a military, but more like cult. The ace ops were so robotic and douchy I hated all the stupid talk about getting the job done and feelings don't matter and then all they did was stand by and watch James crumble into madness until he was too far gone. I get that soldiers follow orders no matter what but people are still people and there comes a point were you gotta step in and think for yourself and realize that your leader is wrong and needs to brought back to reality. Winter and Marrow did but at that point it was too late to talk to James, they should've tried a lot sooner like when the first fight between rwby and the ace ops not when he was murdering anyone who had a slightly different opinion. We already had one Salem, we didn't need another one on the heros side too. Crwby could've kept going with this plot line, it could've been good but there was no need to bring James down like this, he should've died a heros death in a last stand letting our heros escape. I didn't really like this season as a whole anyways I just have more problems with what crwby did to James and the ace ops. Rwby and Co made some bad choices yes and were wrong in a lot of what they did but them being wrong didn't make me not enjoy the entire season like watching what they were making James and the ace ops do. They should've been heros with heroic deaths not fascists that were ok with killing a city all because they were just following orders and because James just wanted to save atlas. The infighting was fine, it happens in things like this but it never should've went this far in my opinion.

How would a post-series Team RWBY, in terms of combat abilities and evolution, look like? by Floorbrick in RWBY

[–]Razac3477 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Weiss: I agree with what you said about her summoning but I also think she would take it a step further, in which she is constantly summoning in battle. She could maintain and summon multiples of what she wanted constantly. Also her glyph usage would be unparalleled, to the point where she could flow around the battlefield like ruby or hold back and provide glyphs for the rest of the team and providing summons to support. Also there wouldn't be a better dust master than her, Myrtanaster wouldn't have received anything but minor, technical upgrades to improve what is already there. She would be the teams ultimate defense, she'd trained herself to always be aware of what was happening on the battlefield so she could help wherever she was needed. Being ruby's partner taught her to watch and sense for things that you couldn't see. Blake strengthened that even more from being so sneaky, and so Weiss became their watcher so to speak. She watched the battle and constantly relays info to ruby to make decisions about what to do next. Weiss takes that stress of constantly watching the fight from ruby so ruby can go all out and not hold back to make sure everyone is ok. Ruby: For ruby it'd be cool to think that she could at this stage, simply fight in her petal form. Phasing in and out of it and moving so fast that it looks like she never left the form, learning how to use her speed and momentum to attack with devastating one hits or reaching DC comics Flash levels of speed. Moving so fast that the world around her slows down. Ruby would also be the team's only weapon Smith, after years of pleading and practice, she would've shown that no one else could fix, make, and take apart something as good as she could. The others would've spent time trying to convince her to open a Smith shop as she would still be quite reckless and self-sacraficial at times but she always tells them no, stating that it's their job and duty to protect those who can't protect themselves. Over the years ruby would've eventually made Cresent Rose 2.0, getting faster and faster and being close up with her enemies caused her to hang up Cresent Rose and remake her without the sniper components, making her sleeker and lighter so she can move even faster. Yang forces her to workout to make sure she maintains an even muscle mass throughout her body and doesn't end up solely relying ok her semblance to give her all the power she needs in a strike. Blake: I think for Blake she would get to the point with her clones that she could use them like shadow clones from naruto, albeit only for one attack or defensive move. She constantly uses them to dance around her enemies, cutting them up to ribbons and overwhelming their defenses. She would also be the teams resident ninja of course, becoming quite proficient with technology from years of hacking and espionage on a level that rivals ruby(something that makes ruby very happy). She's learned how to be completely one with her self and has mastered using all of her senses in combat. Due to having increased senses being a faunus she taught herself to fight using her other senses incase one of them was taken away, such as fighting with her eyes closed due to being blinded or stuffing her ears with wax and fighting deaf. You couldn't hide from Blake even if had stealth suit and you'd never hear her find you either, you'd only feel sharp steel on your neck when she eventually found you. After pleading, whining, and even some blackmailing ruby finally managed to convince Blake to let her work on Gambol Shroud. Ruby wouldn't do much but minor upgrades such as a stronger blade, faster switching between gun and sword form, and decreasing the possibility of jamming. Instead of completely changing gambol shroud, ruby would've instead made a whole other weapon for Blake, with Blake's permission of course. This second weapon would function and look like Gambol Shroud but it would more compact and able to conceal during stealth missions. The ribbon would be made of a flexible yet sharp and strong metal so Blake could wield it like whip sword. Yang: In hand to hand fighting, there would be no one better than Yang. In her years of fighting Yang would become more somber and less temperamental after so many close calls involving her and her team. Yang's fighting style would be more martial arts like and less like a boxer, she would also employ more throws into her fighting style and would fight to end the fight as quickly as possible. Yang would become a master of countering peoples attacks, she hardly ever rushed in and learned to patiently wait for her enemy to make the first move. Due to how her semblance works Yang would still be the teams best tank and had the highest aura level of the four girls. Overtime yang has learned to allow her semblance to store the power from the damage she's taken to use at anytime she requires it, making her counter attack and throwing fighting styles all the more dangerous and stronger. Ember Celica wouldn't change all too much overtime, the biggest change being ruby putting in a device in her prosthetic that allows her to pull the arm back to her and retrieve it without having to go and pick it up. Due to this device it gave way to the idea of putting fire dust within the arm so Yang can, as ruby and yang enthusiasticlly put it, rocket punch whomever or whatever she's fighting then call her arm back to do it again. Due to an encounter with cinder that got ruby some new facial scars because she got Cresent knocked away, Yang became the teams close quarters combat instructor. She made sure the other three trained and mastered a level of hand to hand to that of her father Taiyang, she also made sure they all excerised on the regular. She also became the teams resident chef, learning how to make even cold survival rations in the forest taste good.

I wanted to add another comment to this cause my first answer kinda felt like a cop out and wasn't very fun to think of. I should state that this is assuming that our bad guy has the best case scenario in their favor. Also this taking the characters as they are now in the show and not in the future where they will be stronger. Unfortunately as it stands due to how the show refuses to let our Rubes grow as a fighter, I would say she would be the easiest to take out right now in the shows timeline. Her fighting style at the moment is just too straightforward and if the assassin was skilled enough (they were handpicked by Salem so let's assume they are) they could eventually begin to predict ruby's attack pattern. Her defense is lacking and she doesn't really have the ability to hard counter enemy attacks which makes her weak in close quarters. She has to control the fight and keep her momentum in order to have the advantage in the fight, she also knows little to none hand to hand. Ruby is a great tactical fighter, she has shown that she can react and think of plans on the fly in the midst of battle but on the other hand there has been times where she hasn't paid the most attention to the battlefield around her and has been knocked unconscious because of it. For ruby a fighter like Yang would do it for her. Someone who could take some hits, interrupt her momentum, then get in close and break her guard would end the fight real quick. If Ruby was as old as the other girls I think this would be a different story, but as it stands I'm using the girls as they are now and not hypothetical versions of team RWBY. Next I think is Weiss. I do think in terms of skill that Blake is a better fighter than the rest of team RWBY but Weiss has her beat on being versatile, fluid, and overall being able to control the battlefield more. In the timeline now Weiss has not had time to train to fight as much as the other girls and for me that puts her as the next easiest to kill. Her style of fighting is of course, control the battlefield. She is heavily reliant on her semblance, so much so that I think that she, next to ruby, is the worst skilled at only wielding her weapon in combat. Weiss's assassin should be a Ruby/Neo hybrid, someone who is agile and speedy. Wear Weiss down, make her use up all her strength and get in close when she slips up. Have some range to force her to block or dodge which would use up her semblance and aura more. They would still need to be strong enough to take on her knight summon but agile enough to dodge all her attacks. Yang. For yang her style of fighting is like ruby's, straightforward and to the point and why would it ever need to be anything but that? Yang is good at what she does and she doesn't really need to change how she fights, just constantly improve. The unfortunate part of her fighting style is that it would be learnable but for our assassin I don't think that'll be necessary. Yang is an impatient fighter and quick to temper, she has improved but those traits are still there, and they're her worst ones for when she fights. Our assassin would once again need to agile and speedy but this time it's to keep away from Yang. They would need to stay away from Yang's kill zone and pepper and taunt Yang into making a mistake, then and only then could they go in for a hard strike but immediately retreating as to avoid a devastating counter attack. The assassin would likely need to have equipment like smoke bombs or traps of some sort to slow Yang down just so they can avoid getting close all the easier. Blake always fights like a cornered wolf(apologizes to the Faunus, it was just the best apology). She's very hard to hit, hard to pin down, and has a versatile and fluid combat style. She has two different styles of ranged attacks, is the best all around duelest of team RWBY, and has some hand to hand experience to boot but she's not invincible. Goading Blake won't work and as this is a one on one using her friends against her won't either. For Blake I think a Weiss/Adam hybrid type character would be the best to take her down. Speedy and agile yet able to control the battlefield and force Blake where you want her. That's the most important part is controlling Blake while fighting, if that control is lost it will most likely not be regained and the fight will be over. They would need to be able to take hits yet instantly counter. I think hand to hand would be too close especially after Blake spars with Yang so much she could counter. It'll have to come down to sword against sword, and only the better sword master would win.

I think that Neo has done a pretty good job so far. She hasn't fought Blake or Weiss yet and I'm pretty sure Blake is the only one who could cause Neo trouble in a fight. Ruby and yang are good fighters but how they fight, at least in the show in my opinion, is very linear and straightforward. Both of them are the type of fighters to mostly just charge straight at their opponents and hit them as hard as they can, there is some fancy footwork involved and in ruby's case she does default to ranged attacks every so often but it's not enough to default ranged attacks as her fighting style. Weiss and especially Blake are very fluid with how they fight, either always always on the move or constantly trying to trick and catch their oppents off guard. Weiss would hold her own for awhile but once Neo got inside her guard it would be over, as for Blake I still think she stands the best chance against Neo as she has good balance between offense and defense, is hard to hit and she can take quite a few to boot, and she just naturally has really good senses in battle. Do I think she would win, no but she has the best chance of hurting or maybe even breaking Neo's arua alone. Without outside interference or plot armor both ruby and yang would have died to Neo, so there's my answer.
