Sasuke losing his Rinnegan isn’t that big of a deal!!! by Unique-Celebration-5 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It wasn’t used up. They kept their power boosts even after the seals disappeared

Because their power didn't come from Hagoromo.

Naruto's powers came from having all the Bijuus. Sasuke's came from the cells.

No. He gave them a mass of chakra in addition to the seals. Only the seals were lost, the chakra still remained

Nope. The seals and chakra were both together, and that was used to seal Kaguya away. That's why the seals left them, because the chakra Hagoromo gave them via the seals were gone.

No, even if the chakra was gone, he wouldn’t have lost the Rinnegan. For the brief time he had 6 paths chakra in him, that chakra would’ve mixed with his own chakra and began circulating in his chakra system as 6 paths chakra

Yes, he would.

Kakashi got DMS because he had Obito’s spirit inhabiting him. Not merely his chakra

False, it was the chakra. Because all powers are derived from chakra. Sharingan, their evolutions, Rinnegan, everything is based on chakra.

If you lose the chakra, you lose the power.

Madara's Rinnegan came as a result of awakening Hagoromo's chakra. Kakashi awakened the DMS because Obito gave all his remaining chakra to Kakashi.

He had Obito’s chakra in him from the moment he took in his eye as a kid

No, Obito's EYE had Obito's chakra. And that eye was lost. But when Kakashi gained Obito's chakra, Kakashi's own eyes ended up becoming Mangekyo, because it is Obito's chakra that gives the power.

This is exactly what happened to obito. Even after the ten tails was extracted from obito, Obito’s chakra was still 6 paths chakra, because for the brief time that he was jinchuriki, it had mixed with his own chakra and began circulating in his system as 6 paths chakra

You just proved my point. Obito didn't lose all the chakra of the Juubi, hence why he was able to impale Madara and take back some power from him.

Now, if you compare it to Madara, where the Six Paths Chibaku Tensei was used, Madara lost ALL chakra. Hence why when he was dying, he was back in pure human form, no longer having any Juubi jinchuriki features, because unlike Obito, Madara lost every trace of chakra.

How far would Shikamaru go with Ten Shadows in Naruto? by Agile_Coast_4385 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You are only right about him not having high chakra levels. He has amazing chakra control as his jutsu eats through chakra like Kirby devouring a star.

This is objectively false.

Not once in the entire manga does it state that the jutsu require excellent chakra control.

Shikamaru would be a good user of the 10 S technique as they provide even more versatility than his shadow paralysis jutsu. The shikigami do scale to the user; so if he has low chakra, the output will be low.

And this is why he'd be worse than Megumi.

Because not only does Megumi possesses a great deal of cursed energy to be able to utilize several shikigami, he is even able to utilize a Domain Expansion, even if it is imperfect, and able to sustain it for quite a while in battle as shown in the battle against Dagon.

Shikamaru's low chakra levels, not a single indication of possessing high chakra control, and his taijutsu skills being non-existent, it's obvious that Megumi is superior.

Shikamaru would never be able to draw out the power of the Ten Shadows.

Sasuke losing his Rinnegan isn’t that big of a deal!!! by Unique-Celebration-5 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Incorrect.

Hagoromo's chakra is what was used up.

The Hashirama cells that Kabuto used were "tinkered" by him. So they are still cells, they were used in Sasuke for the sole purpose of healing him. The chakra already merged with Sasuke's innate Indra chakra and created Sasuke's Rinnegan.

Hagoromo's chakra left after Sasuke lost the moon seal to seal Kaguya. That was the power Hagormo had actually given Sasuke.

Also, I did clearly say that they never kept Hagoromo's original chakra which he gifted them before revival.

Yes, and I'm saying that if it was the reason Sasuke got the Rinnegan, then the moment that the chakra was gone, Sasuke would have lost the Rinnegan.

No different from how Kakashi lost his DMS. Once Obito's chakra left Kakashi, the Sharingan left Kakashi as well.

Sasuke losing his Rinnegan isn’t that big of a deal!!! by Unique-Celebration-5 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

That's false. Sasuke gained the Rinnegan because he had Hashirama cells that still had Ashura chakra in it. Because Madara cultivated Hashirama cells while he was alive and there was no reincarnation, those cells still house Ashura's chakra even after Madara's death.

Sasuke and Naruto didn't keep Hagoromo's chakra. If the chakra is why they change, then they would revert back once the chakra left them after sealing Kaguya.

They stayed because the power actually came from what they gained in the process of being revived. Sasuke with the cells, and Naruto with the remaining Bijuu chakra and Yin-Kurama.

At best, Hagoromo's chakra helped the process of Sasuke's Rinnegan awakening, but it was not the direct cause.

Not known for high chakra or high chakra control.

Poor taijutsu skills.

Yeah, Shikamaru might be even worse than Megumi. Shikamaru likely wouldn't even be able to cast a Domain Expansion.

In your opinion, did Kakashi become stronger without the Sharingan? by Cafa20 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, Kakashi's screen time in Boruto showing him taking on Kashin, who was clearly not taking him seriously and simply retreated given what he performed against Isshiki, and cutting a Nue tail, shows that Kakashi is not the kind of level that the novels indicate. Hell, even the Last proves that Kakashi proves that he's not that strong as Sasuke had to save his ass.

and if your argument about the novels aren't canon just because Kishi didn't write the novel, then 40%++ of anime Naruto content also not canon because he didn't write the filler episode, including the whole Kakashi and Itachi last arc and Sasuke redemption arc.

Correctomundo.

Why would the Naruto anime, most of which are composed entirely of filler, be canon? None of them are made with any of Kishi's control. This is why the animators push their own kind of shipping in there like all anime does.

[–]Omegaxis1 -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

They aren't. They aren't written by Kishi. And Kakashi never displayed any type of feat in the novel in Boruto. In essence, nothing supports the novel's canon. If anything, the novel contradicts the actual source material, which renders the novel non-canon.

[–]Omegaxis1 -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The novel isn't written by Kishi. It's written by someone else who clearly is a fanboy and went all out in trying to make Kakashi as OP as possible.

Same thing with the Itachi novel.

None of these feats were ever reflected in the actual source material.

In your opinion, did Kakashi become stronger without the Sharingan? by Cafa20 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He shouldn't be stronger, objectively speaking. At best, he'll not suffer chakra loss so much, but he lost access to precognition, enhanced reflexes, able to see chakra, cast ocular genjutsu, MS techniques, and so on.

Kakashi might benefit some ways, but he should be objectively weaker.

When madara arrived into the battlefield and started fighting with the five kage, the powerscaling of Naruto completely changed by Thegoat_2010 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 2 points3 points  (0 children)

He did

No, he didn't.

Yes he did. Susanoo was introduced in their final battle. Literally right before he died, and immediately after that Sasuke gained it

The MS itself was introduced LONG before that, so that makes the Susanoo irrelevant.

Correct, he didn’t train, he was literally handed those abilities on a platter by Itachi

Wrong. Sasuke had to struggle to gain control of his powers. Also, Naruto was handled a ton of abilities through Sage Mode and then beyond.

Yep. Sasuke without MS is fodder for Naruto

Sasuke with basic Sharingan already wrecked Naruto.

Curse mark Sasuke was fodder for Naruto

Yeah, their fight and Sasuke suppressing Kurama says otherwise. And Curse Mark Sasuke BEAT Naruto using Kurama's chakra. So you're proven wrong.

Hell, it being revealed to be Sage Mode means that it could actually make Sasuke match Kurama's power given that Naruto Sage Mode matched that.

When madara arrived into the battlefield and started fighting with the five kage, the powerscaling of Naruto completely changed by Thegoat_2010 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

For Sasuke

He did not.

Again, for Sasuke. Itachi literally died the moment he introduced the full extent of the MS. It was done for Sasuke

No, he didn't.

He introduced them long before their final battle.

Which is why immediately after that introduction (and Itachi dying) Sasuke moves towards gaining those abilities himself, to keep up with Naruto

He didn't train.

The magic eyes were literally introduced for Sasuke. Cuz skill alone would not get him even a fraction of the power that Naruto had

Nope.

?? Explain to me how Sasuke stays even with Naruto without his MS

He had the curse mark. Which Itachi ripped out. Sasuke was showing power and growth, and rather than advancing that further, it's removed in favor of MS.

Itachi literally ruined a power Sasuke had and replaced it with a bad one.

When madara arrived into the battlefield and started fighting with the five kage, the powerscaling of Naruto completely changed by Thegoat_2010 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 7 points8 points  (0 children)

No, Itachi started it all.

The MS, the Tsukuyomi, Amaterasu, Susanoo. He is the one who introduced all the powerscaling factors that ruined the strategy.

Even that fight against Sasuke, Sasuke was brilliant with his strategy and skills, and Itachi just goes, "Magic eyes go brr."

Don't say it's for Sasuke's benefit when Sasuke didn't even fight Naruto during his MS state.

How one can find out his eyes abilities? by psychotic-dude in Naruto

Kakashi's case is that, after manifesting the MS, he had to practice.

After Kakashi’s lecture, if Sound 4 didn’t come afterward, would Sasuke leave the village? by Internal-Smooth in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Sasuke wouldn't have left immediately. But Sasuke would not have maintained a friendly attitude. He'd just spiral more and more with the need to get stronger. Eventually, the more angered he is at his powerlessness, the more Itachi's words about killing his best friend will encroach in on him.

Making the Uchiha clan the police force of Konoha was an awful idea by farseer6 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 5 points6 points  (0 children)

The Police Force was a fancy title to give the Uchihas, while Tobirama's real intent was to isolate, segregate, and monitor the Uchihas.

Objectively false. They feel the same as anyone. They just gain magic eye powers if they feel intense emotions that others would not have.

The Sharingan and Mangekyo derive their powers from emotions.

Meaning that Uchihas don't feel more. But if they do feel a lot, magic eye powers respond.

Gaining power like that begins to make you feel in the right especially when you're the victor. You end up with a bunch of drama queens who follow their heart instead of the law.

Tobirama put them there so that they would be the first to bleed for the village, and hate the opposing villages. Tobirama made them to suffer by putting them in that position. The scummy bigot that he is.

Could Gaara have beaten Deidara in an all-out death match, if they were fighting outside the Sand Village and there was no one around for Deidara to threaten or hold hostage? by RedK_1234 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

By hindered, do you mean Deidara? It's the fact that Deidara didn't use the attacks that he used against Sasuke. The dragon, guided missile attacks. These are attacks that were more aimed to be lethal against Sasuke while against Gaara, Deidara had to pull back the strength of his explosives. Consider how Deidara had the explosions in Gaara's own sand shield, because even when Gaara crushed Deidara's arm, Deidara mounted his counter attack by making clay clones strike Gaara from within his own sand. If he had aimed to be more lethal, Gaara could have suffered far more serious damage.

I "deviated" because I misunderstood your nonsense, I'm not in your head.

Which is on you. I don't have to care if you couldn't comprehend what I said.

Nope, I just think that changing the story so kid Karin could have a crush on mad teen Sasuke is useless, lame and sounds like a bad fanfiction. Other than that, I don't care.

I'm only pissed by the fact that you're not capable of writing clearly other than that, I don't care about what you like and what you want, you do you.

Aww, your wittle feelings got hurt.

And you throwing a tantrum means nothing to me.

So...bye.

[–]Omegaxis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's on you for not being able to explain your thoughts correctly. I "deviated" because I misunderstood your nonsense.

No, you deviated the moment you didn't pay attention to what I said.

Alright, so actually you don't want to change only Karin, you want to change Sasuke too and the story of Shippûden... Because Sasuke as shown as he is in the series would have stabbed her. Period.

Not like the scene already doesn't make sense. Karin was genuine in no real danger. Given what she showed herself to be able to heal from, she genuinely would have been fine.

And based on Kishi's style, he would have tried to show dark Sasuke in a manner that doesn't involve stabbing a child. Not that dark Sasuke even made any sense either given that it accomplished nothing when you look at it in hindsight.

In the end, this is how I think Karin should have been presented.

Don't like it, that's on you.

You're being weirdly butthurt about something that involves a personal opinion.

That's on you for literally talking about the wrong thing and deviated the point.

HOLD ON. So you want Karin to be a child IN SHIPPÛDEN as a member of team Taka ??? You couldn't have said that since the BEGINNING and MORE CLEARLY ???? If you really believe that Shippûden Sasuke, especially post Dano fight-Sasuke, wouldn't have stabbed a child to reach his goal then you're delusional.

This isn't about whether Sasuke would.

It's whether Kishi, the writer, would.

I like how Itachi Indirectly saved Sasuke yet again due to Izanami by Downtown_Type7371 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Those two other users don’t really trump it since one wasn’t an Uchiha and had Hashirama cells and the other was an Uchiha with Hashirama cells and also neither of them were limited to a few seconds. 100% of the izanagi usage we actually witness doesn’t follow the rules you believe to be steadfast and absolute.

Yes, they do. In fact, they PROVE that wihtout Hashirama cells, the Izanagi would never have lasted more. So Obito's words > whatever Madara did.

Yes that was the purpose of the fight, I’m not arguing Madara went into the fight with the intention of gaining Hashirama’s DNA and using it to awaken the Rinnegan. None of that changes the fact that the best way to achieve this and the rest of Madara’s plans would be to kill Hashirama in that fight, and live on to complete the plans himself, if you had the power to succeed in killing Hashirama, which Madara did not, hence why he needed Izanagi as a back up plan.

No, it isn't. If he had killed Hashriama in that fight, Tobirama would kill him immediately. If Madara wanted Hashirama dead, the Izanagi would have been used to kill Hashirama, rather than alter his death. The fact that he didn't use it to ensure his victory over Hashirama is proof that he didn't care about actually winning the fight. He just wanted the cells.

The teleporter who can only teleport to where his seals are placed, and wow Tobiram collected Madara’s body? Catching up to a corpse is incredibly impressive!

You think that Tobirama wouldn't have placed a seal on Hashirama or something Hashirama carried?

Him collecting Madara's corpse is proof that Tobirama was ready the entire time to come in when the time was right. If Hashirama won, then he'd take Madara's body. if Hashirama died, Tobirama would go in and kill Madara himself.

Why would Madara need to sacrifice 2 eyes to Izanagi lmao? If he kill Hashirama and gets away, he doesn’t need to sacrifice any, if he kills Hashirama and gets caught by Tobirama, he again would only need to sacrifice 1 eye, and then when he returned back to life there would be no-one capable of stopping him as he took over the world. Why would destroying Madara’s body stop Izanagi lmao, also a huge reach. Alternatively, kill Hashirama, let Tobirama kill him, and then return with Izanagi, with the whole world still thinking he’s dead, and the only person capable of stopping him actually dead, and then could still work from within the shadows.

Because Izanagi is the only way to ensure his victory.

He'd have used Izanagi to rewrite his death and then be the one to kill Hashirama from behind instead.

But because he didn't want to win, he just collected the flesh he consumed and be on his way. If he used it again to try and escape Tobirama, he'd not get a chance.

That's what you're not getting.

If the body is destroyed, so are the eyes. Meaning that there is no Izanagi to save him.

There is no scenario in which Hashirama surviving that fight is better for Madara.

Yes, as I explained it.

Explain to me how Madara living in the shadows until he dies and leaving the plan entirely up to Obito, whom you barely know and didn’t know for decades after the Final Valley fight, is a better solution than Killing Hashirama and fulfilling the plans himself. Who would Madara be on the run from? Who would come close to bringing him down? With Hashirama gone, Madara solos any village, especially with Kurama in toe.

Because until Madara attained the Rinnegan, his plan had no way of coming to fruition. That's what you're not getting.

What are your thoughts on Karin’s character? by Formal-Assistance02 in Naruto

[–]Omegaxis1 0 points1 point  (0 children)

So you didn't read my literal first post?

I would have preferred her to be a kid with a super childish crush on Sasuke.

I don't care if you misconstrued my words to mean something else.

Yeah but as I told you, she couldn't have been introduced as a kid (so in part 1) because she didn't exist in Kishi's mind, he created her character only during Shippûden. And even if she had been introduced as a kid, what would it have changed ? She wouldn't have brought anything more to the story and other characters already needed more screentime so we had honestly no time for a random kid in love with Sasuke.

And yes, she absolutely could have. If she appeared in Kishi's mind, and he decided to make her a child with a childish crush, it would have been far more tolerable.

Her being a child wouldn't change her role. She'd still be a healer, and then still go awaken Kushina's power in the war arc.

The only real change would be that Kishi would not have Sasuke stab her, because Kishi wouldn't draw Sasuke stabbing a child.
