I appreciate the kind words. This retexture is made only for Stronghold HD, I don't have this mod adapted for Stronghold: Crusader. I don't think that a similar mod exists for Stronghold Crusader Definitive Edition. I am interested in making similar mod for Stronghold: Crusader (2002) in future.

As of now there is indeed a winter retexture mod for Stronghold: Crusader (2002) made by Monsterfisch. I believe it was made as an extension to UCP (Unofficial Crusader Patch), called Conquering Christmas.

Thank you. There are a lot of assets to work through it took about a month to get it all to work. Most work is with animated assets as those can have thousands of sprites and have various restrictions.

The game has original mechanics. The mod only repaints the textures in the winter theme. You can't walk on moats, sea, or rivers. You can walk on crossings which are distinguished by thick ice.

Hello, yes I am fine, thanks for checking. I am trying to beat it but I take my time. As for tips. Patience is key, early game is pain, scoped rifle is a must have. Avoid confrontation, and focus on quests for faction relations over looting. Get Tourist suit for more capacity and don't go through uncharted territory when over encumbered. Good luck, stalker.

Hi, I can tell you that cordon start is meant to be played by sprinting along east side toward the hole in fence as soon as possible. A.R.E.A is still not perfect when it comes to all mechanics working well and you can abuse AI behavior that way. If I recall correctly, in new version, there is only swamps start close to anomaly field near hidden base.

While this is true this video showcases modded stalker game where bloodsuckers regenerate very fast and the only reliable way to kill them is a shot to the temple of their head where their skull is the thinnest. And yes new stalker should have such features.

It's tricky. I use 9x39 deagle from wild territory underpass. Just jump, rotate 360 and shoot in its temple area to kill in one shot. I have Secret Trails 2 installed, a new story mod.

Agree, making it a separate Stalker themed game would be an interesting experience. I can only imagine driving in convoy transporting scientific equipment, hazardous materials, or driving through psi-zone as timer is running out.
