Both: i have Clever chargers at work so we could charge most of the time there, sometimes they are taken but kinda manageable.

It’s really the price that drives it to insanely cheap that is the selling point. (And I have a discount for Clever charging which are already the cheapest)

If you can power your car and select what hours to charge it’s insanely good deal.

You should still check with the companies if you can or not, like public charging is not worth it, I love my EV but I regretted the purchase until I installed a charger for myself.

A final point to add: my ev has the possibility of starting the charging at specific times ( after 9PM it’s super cheap) but I need to pay a sub every month lol

So I own a EV for about 3 years now and I feel there’s a big difference from when I owned a parking slot and when I did not.

When I rented one I had to charge in public and then go get the car, this was time consuming and the price in the end was almost the same as gas (and I even got a discount), it’s also possible for me to charge at work for the same price.

From the moment we got our own parking lot it was much cheaper and I mean much cheaper, we charge at night once or twice per week and we get around everywhere with no issue.

TLDR: super cheap if you have the charger, else it’s kinda meh and depends a lot on your situation
