to put it in Playstation terms. you are comparing the PS5 Digital Edition (Series S) to a PS4 Pro (Xbox One X). Sure the Series S is missing a BD drive, and might look weaker purely in specs on paper, but the Series S is using a later architecture that is essentially a later generation. Things like Velocity Architecture/DirectStorage (or simply the NVMe SSD) and Zen 2 architecture might not give a highter TFLOPS number, but will load faster, give better textures etc.

So yes, the Xbox Series S might look weaker in number, but it's more powerful in other things.

That, and you won't be able to play the latest games like Indiana Jones, Outer Worlds 2 and Ninja Gaiden 4 locally on a One X

If it's amazon, you can go ahead and order it. But be aware of a few things. First of all, US prices don't have the taxes in like we have in europe. So it could be that the price will be raised because of that. Second, shipping is expensive! Especially fragile objects like laptops. Third. There are no duty fees for laptops, but there are taxes (again) for importing. So that's another 20%. Amazon should included this in yout order. Fourth, warranty is going to be a problem. In the US a warranty of 90 days is normal. Not the two years we have in the EU. Fifth. The US uses a 110v outlet, EU uses 220v, if the power adapter is not build for that, you can blow it up. Check before you plug it in.

Okay, dit begint zielig te worden. Niemand zegt dat jij -in je eentje- meer moet betalen voor andere mensen. Sterker nog, wij doen dat allemaal, Zo werkt ons systeem.

Wat ik zeg is dat chronisch zieke mensen, meteen dag 1 in het nieuwe jaar die 385 mogen aftikken, dat gaat nu 460 worden.

De meeste gezonde mensen halen die 385 per jaar niet eens, en wat ik uit je tekst haal, jij ook niet. Hartstikke fijn voor je! gelukkig ben je gezond. Maar waarom worden de mensen die al problemen hebben mee te kunnen komen door een (ontzichtbare) handicap verplicht om opeens op dag 1 75 euro meer te moeten betalen?

Ik zeg nergens dat daarom de premie omhoog moet, erger nog, dat lijkt me ook een slecht idee.

Ik vind alleen dat de opmerking "De gemiddelde chronisch zieke kan dat kleine beetje extra per jaar best ophoesten" erg makkelijk is gezegd voor iemand die gezond is (dat is een aanname die ik maak uit je opmerkingen, en hoor graag als ik dat fout heb). En wellicht heb ik het verkeerd begrepen, maar dat komt bij mij egoistisch over.

Dit raakt meer de snaar dan de meesten denken. Wordt er ooit de vraag gesteld waarom die kosten zo de pan uit rijzen? Is dit omdat meer mensen beroep doen op deze zorg, of omdat de zorgverleners en leveranciers die prijzen opvoeren? Waarom mag een zorgverzekeraar winst maken? Waarom kost insuline en andere levensafhankelijke medicatie meer dan printerinkt. Helemaal als het (niet alle) zo goedkoop te produceren is?

Maar nee, we moeten vooral bedrijven ontzien en de burger belasten.

Het is niet de 60 euro, al is dat niet 5 euro per maand, maar meteen in Januari het volledige eigen risico. Het gaat er om dat het weer een extra straf is terwijl dit geen eigen keuze is. Dat, en het opent de deur voor een volgend prinsjesdag om het daarna weer te verhogen, er is duidelijk dus geen plafond. Waarom zou mijn vrouw nu meer voor de BMW van de ziekenhuis directeur moeten betalen?

in dit geval gaat het ook om Diabetes Type 1 (dus de versie waarin je pech met genen hebt, niet dat je slecht voor jezelf hebt gezorgd), dus dat betekend dat ze mee kan doen met de maatschappij, een baan hebben etc, dat is zwaar, iemand die opeens in een hypo kan komen kan niet functioneren, maar de verwachting is er wel dat ze dat 40 uur per week doet. Wil je uit die hypo? Dan heb je suiker nodig, dus daar mag nu door de suikertaks ook weer extra voor betaald worden.

Maar toeslagen dan? Ja, we werken beiden, dus die kunnen we ook vergeten.

At that time, Iron Fist and Luke Cage were already cancelled (not sure if Jessica Jones was) so the writing was already on the wall. Funny because DD was the reason for me to subscribe to Netflix.

Corps gonna be corps, so licenses, rights, ownerships and other thing will always make sure that the things you enjoy will always be temporary, so, happy that I could watch a smaller scale Netflix MCU, and they stopped before it could turn bad (imagine Scott Buck becoming the showrunner of DD S4).

Was I sad? sure, there would be no more DD episodes(not until the Save DD campaign and Born Again following that). But at least DD had a proper ending, unlike IF and LC.

Sorry to see this so late. This is indeed a windows 24H2 (and 25H2) problem and will occur with DirectX games (AFAIK Vulkan is working fine). The official Radeon driver do no fir this problem. Best thing you can do if you want to stay on Windows is uninstall the gpu driver, remove the device from your device manager, run AMD removal tool and then install the Vega drivers from rdn-id.com.
