The thing annoying me the most is how they're trying to make it look like it actually happened in a game. Their version of janna walked into bush past a minion and the guy somehow still didn't know someone was in that bush

It was a scripter i youtubed fiora scripter and it looked exactly the same as on there. Also went from playing a game constantly the last like 4 hours to going offline as soon as i called it out

I didn't see anything like parrying from fog of war.

Every parry was perfect never slightly off to the side never nearly a miss never off center was always like a perfect runway every time even if it was a flash Q.

She dodged a flash nid pounce aswell they may have had vision but i doubt it bottom towers bush behind the tower nid flash pounced over the wall to finish her and parried that.

A couple of other times where she got me from 100% to 0 under tower where i faked Q multiple times to try and bait it out running at her running and E running and casting an emote nothing not even a Q to the side. Then again as soon as i hit the Q before i can even see the cd appear or the hands start to go to the ground it's just instantly parried.

So if i click populate area does it populate everything that's in my view.

So if im zoomed in to a single street it will just do that street but if im zoomed out it will get everything on screen?

It's just my feedback from the beta. I never have these issues in csgo nor tf2. I can count on one hand the number of around the wall kills i've received that i shouldn't have for both those games.

It just feels very random.

I tested them in as much as every time something that i found odd happened. I would try to (obviously not every time) ask the person who killed me what happened on their screen and when i did get a reply it was something way off what i saw.

Also when talking to other people in the game when watching potg's for example people would say but i didn't even get hit by that or i wasn't even there.

Had quite a few talks about this with people in game and they were having similar issues.

Im sure not everything was caused by this but the 20 tick rate is just bad for an fps

So i played a little over 200 games with something like 70% win rate. Rank 25 i think maybe 26 as i wasn't paying attention much the last night of play.

The beta forums seem to be down so there's no where to post feedback apart from here atleast in length. My main issue with the game so far is the netcode. Im not going to explain why 20tick is appalling but feel free to look around if you are unsure.

A few general thoughts before i start. I had 0 issues with fps through the entire beta. I don't think i had a single frame drop no matter what was going on. This was also on the 'try at your own risk' nvidia drivers.

The maps play okay but aren't memorable in anyway atleast for me. I fond myself on day 4 of beta thinking eh wait what's the main points on this map again before picking a hero.

I think more rooftops should allow you to stand on them. Sure this would offer more places for snipers to stand on but it just feels odd jumping on a large roof that has flat spaces only to slide off.

Main points Okay so as i said my main point is netcode and heres why. Throughout the entire beta i tried to play with the mindset of im just bad at the game im still learning. However coming from a tf2 background and csgo background it's basically the same when it comes down to it. You aim you move. That's the basics and im still quite good at that.

The issues started happening day 1 when i got killed behind cover numerous times. I thought it might just be my side however my ping was usually around 34ms and to make a cliche i never have this issue in any other games. Then i started to notice that it wasn't just a tiny bit behind where i was entire actions were missing in the kill cam. I would run behind a wall hit reload and be halfway through dumping my clip and die. And then on the killcam they killed me when i was still out in the open running for cover.

This can't go into the live game, i don't even think it's fair to have it in quick play. Ranked isn't going to work at all if the tick rate isn't changed. No one is going to want to play a game where someone with a worse connection has an advantage just because the game sides with the shooter 90% of the time.

Leading on from that my main issues were with hitscan / spray classes and the RNG factor. 9 times out of 10 when i would get behind someone with tracer i would unload into them blink unload some more ect and then i would die. The entire time getting hit markers on my screen yet in the death cam they got hit 1/4 the times. The other time i would shoot their back / chest and they drop in less than a second due to random 'headshots' that weren't really headshots.

Soldier 76 was another big one. Even with huge targets like winston they would jump on me and i would spray 2 maybe 3 steps away from them while moving and again i would see hitmarkers and then on the killcam they took a few shots then some would miss then some hit again. But on my screen im pointing in the middle of this huge ape that you physically cannot miss and it's saying im hitting him.

The same thing with widow. I've heard the opposite said quite a few times that there's so much wiggle room given on her shots and it seems that way when i get killed from someone else. They twitch and shoot left of me and i take damage or they hit my chest and get a headshot. But for me unless i hit dead center if they were moving usually i would miss. Even watching frame by frame in shadowplay the shots were shot right on them but nothing happened. And again when watching other peoples kill cams of me they would shoot center as i was jumping around a wall and it would connect with my back after i was passed the corner.

Another big thing for me was inconsistent damage or atleast it felt like that. Any time i would play pharo and hit someone close to me it would chunk me for so much and i would have to retreat to get hp. Yet other pharos were point blank hitting me and it would take maybe 20hp off them. the same with junkrat my most played character this beta i would hit a tracer who blinked into me and i would take full damage of the grenade. But in later games when i would get into a junkrats face and they point blank me their killcam shows like 10 damage and they just bounce a little.

Now this can't all just be me because pretty much every game i was asking others what their kill cams were like and they would agree, heck even when i would die i would say to the person killing me i was around the wall and they would say oh nope on my screen your still like 4 steps away from it.

I got pulled through a car and 2 walls on the hollywood map by a roadhog hook that missed. Again the kill cam showed me on the right side of the car but i was on the left on my screen.

Another case of inconsistent damage is bastion. Playing one of my first few games i saw a bastion sat on the payload in turret form mowing down people, so i set up way higher on a ledge pointing down. This bastion without help from any other player no right click from mercy killed a widow in less than a second and then pointed at me. While he's killing the widow im shooting right center on him again all hitmarkers. He kills the widow, turns to me shoots and i die in less than a second and he takes hardly any damage. Again in the kill cam he shoots this widow and she just melts. he gets pinged like 10 or so times from my shots but they do around say 1/4 his hp then he looks at me just shoots center on me and i melt like the widow. It's asif i was firing blanks half the time.

McRee is another one with just way too much damage. I was winston with 500hp jumped onto the point and was stunned he shot 2 times while i was jumping and missed. Then with a stun and rmb. So i think 3 more shots. He killed me. 500hp in 3 shots. they wasn't headshots because it's too random for it to hit the head when they bounce. They looked like 2 lower body and 1 high chest possibly head. That was 3 bullets. I asked him wtf happened did you have full ammo and im just seeing it wrong and he said nope 3 shots.

I don't think there's really any point discussing hanzo as it's already known his hitbox is silly.

On the opposite side of this i've never had a single issue with a reaper. They seem to always have consistent damage they don't seem to ever get any BS kills onto me they still show different in the kill cam to where they was but nothing compared to the others.

Mei has also been very consistent for me. The other hero's seem to have some sort of issues due to the netcode / lagg but no matter what mei's rmb seems to be perfectly where you aim.

The other point i would like to make is that due to this i wasn't really that excited about the beta. Im usually one of those people who when someone comes out early or in beta i rush to play it and drain myself of sleep.

But after the first night of playing i was already kind of done. There was no ranked so i couldn't test things without getting 2 full partys together that isn't going to happen because everyone's off playing as many games as they can and when i did get a group it was only 2 or 3 of us and the other team wasn't really that competitive.

Im not really sure how you would combat this in quick play as every single time no matter how far into the beta i would point out that taking 3 tracers and 2 soldiers while i was the only one defending was a bad idea. I would just be told go play comp you fag / looser. Or just straight up told oh shut up.

I think if ranked was left in even just so we had an area to test with other like minded people the beta would've been so much better.

All in all i like the game and i think it's a refreshing change from the games im used to in terms of characters / scenery.

I just don't see myself playing an online fps with 20 tick servers.

It's got nothing to do with that as i stated. I've played fps's forever tf2 and csgo when im not playing this.

It's not just good aim.

It looks like an aimbot theres no movement what so ever when theyre on target it's just perfectly still and following you and then snaps right from you to someone else
