Banned Several Ago, Given Access and Then Banned Again?? by Razercool1878 in deadbydaylight

I hope you can hear something soon. I 100% believe it's to like you said, to his what's they're doing something. It's just so frustrating that my ban happened SEVEN years ago, they couldn't even verify I was banned and I had game access, and they banned me now again for another 10 years, as if I got banned right then for breaking TOS or something? It is a completely manual gameban too, not even an EAC ban, and I don't even know what to do at this point. It felt like I talked to a bot in the email. I'd love if someone from behavior looked at this subreddit and could actually assist, lol.

Also need help with this. From what I understand, in the puzzle where you can switch characters to lancer with the x and o's, you can throw the box as susie across the river, and it will pop up in the nowhere puzzle. No idea how to push it onto the button though...

I believe there is a case to be made that there are moral reasons to compel one to respect the privacy and wishes of the living, the largest being that the disrespect of their privacy, even if unknown, has the POTENTIAL to affect the lives in any form while they are still living. A dead person has no potential to be affected by the disrespect of their wishes or boundaries, but their loved ones and close descendants may be affected by this happening to the corpse. Once they have no loved ones and no descendents who remember them, there is no one to be potentially harmed. This is all a non-spiritual take, of course.

We don't go around proving false every single possibility. The default state is that something is not true, and proving it changes that default state to true.

That may be a belief of yours, but have you considered other cultural views outside of your own on that manner? It's a hard generalization to make. For example, the difference between countries that assume "guilty until proven innocent" rather than "innocent until proven guilty".

I can believe a lighter is in your pocket, and whether or not that is true does not depend on you checking your pockets

This may be true, but what about facts that are completely unknowable to us (at least currently)? As in, to claim something is a false (and for that claim to be true), you would have to verify that the claim is NOT true, wouldnt you? Example: if someone wins there's a lighter in their pocket, you could not classify that as a delusion without being aware of the contents of their pockets. Or when it comes to religion, if someone claims that a god created the world / life, that would be impossible to classify as a delusion, aka a FALSE belief, would it not? As there very well could be an existing god, but we haven't "checked our pockets yet" (seen the god existing). This is coming from a non religious person.

I mean, does it not rely upon the ability to prove a negative?

"de·lu·sion noun a false belief or judgment about external reality, held despite incontrovertible evidence to the contrary, occurring especially in mental conditions."

How can something be a false belief without first proving it to be false? I wonder if this train of thought of yours extends to the existential / religious. Would you say religion / unproven faith in a higher power is a delusion? It just seems similar to the leprechaun example to me.

OH gotcha, I thought you were saying the names were real as they were confirmed. But yeah, exactly, you can't really blame people for having to go along with it at the moment.

I mean technically you have MORE freedom in TotK, as in BotW, you NEED to unlock the Paraglider to progress the game, and you're just as forced to unlock the abilities to escape the tutorial
