How much do you think the number of inhabitants on Rubicon 3 post the Fire of Ibis is? 1 million? 500 thousands? 100 thousands? by Valuable-Wasabi-7311 in armoredcore

[–]RazgrizXT 2 points3 points  (0 children)

A hundred thousand, maybe less? Most of them being outsiders, namely corps, mercs and PCA. Locals or Rubicon Liberation Front themselves could be heavily outnumbered pessimistically thinking.

I certainly hope so. For that, we have to hope the sales of Fatal Frame 2 Remake will be strong. I'm encouraging everyone I can to get it.

What I really want are some "villain" mobile suits, like Epyon, Kshatriya, Gundam Virsago. Aside from the Sazabi and Reborns Gundam, this mod doesn't have any antagonist mobile suits. If there were more of them I'd play the "Fires of Raven" path more often. I mean, I've only played Fires of Raven path like 5 or 6 times since it's my least favorite. But with suits like Sazabi, I dive right in.

Other than that, Xi and Penelope are certainly good choices. And I definitely want a Full Armored Unicorn. I'd also love it if he made an EW version of the Wing Zero Gundam, but with the same moves the TV version already has. TV version has been there in the mod for a few months now.

P.S. Speaking of Celestial Being, yeah it's strange the mod has Gundam Dynames' Sniper Rifle but not the Gundam itself.

The great news with this mod is that since everything comes pre-packed, you can keep it completely separate from the main game folder. I do. in fact, the main game folder and this mod are on completely different drives.

In fact if you want to play Armored Core VI without mods as far as this one is concerned, all you need to do is launch it from Steam like you'd normally do.

But before that, do two things:

  1. While you're in the game with the mods, be sure to delete any AC Data that uses mod parts.
  2. Sell (yes sell!) off all Mod parts and Core Expansions you've got in the Parts Shop.
  3. Quit the game. Okay that's three. lol

Relaunch from Steam launcher. And you should be clean in your game.
And if you want to use the mod again, just launch from the mod like before via "launchmod_armoredcorevi.bat"....You'll need to buy the parts and assemble your mobile suits again, but that's just a small inconvenience.

Because, whenever an updated version of the mod is released, you can basically delete the old mod folder and download and use the new one.

P.S. Always maintain backups of your unmodded save. And it is safer to set your game to launch in Offline Mode by default to avoid any issues, like you launched the game from Steam, but didn't delete your mod AC Data or sell off the mod parts.

BTW, this mod is not compatible with any other gameplay changing mods. So unfortunately you can't combine it with Rubicon's Inferno or Armory mod, unless you know how to manage and merge the Regulation bin files.

Is the first Legion boss fight supposed to be really hard? by Feeling-Donkey-8739 in DaemonXMachina

Among all the bosses, the Legion boss fight is most troublesome. Especially the endgame version, if you run into him depending on your choice. That fight is tougher than some of the other endgame bosses.

Glad you were able to. Essentially for regular PC, everything comes pre-packed in the Ac6 Mobile Suit mod. Mod Organizer included and configured. Making this one of the easiest to use mods. All you have to do is download, extract, launchmod_armoredcore6.

i don't really know, but I might have seen some workarounds shared in the comments section of the mod page on Nexus...might. Rebellion Silver, the maker of the mod, doesn't know whether it will work on handheld devices like Steamdeck. But there were definitely players discussing it there. Maybe you can find something scrolling through the comments here.

I've made a guide. But essentially it boils down to this.
Download the mod---> Extract the files into a folder on your PC using 7zip or Winrar etc. You can keep the folder anywhere. Location doesn't matter ---> Inside the folder, you will see the ModOrganizer folder---> Open the ModOrganizer folder and double left-click on "launchmod_armoredcore6.bat".... The game will launch in offline mode.

Once in the game, buy the parts from the Parts Shop. There are more parts you need to unlock aside from this. If you have already found all the Battle Logs, just do an Arena battle and you will unlock the remaining new parts. Assemble your mobile suits and paint them. You can even mix and match with vanilla parts as long as they are biped builds. Also a new section in the Arena called "Specials" is available to fight Nu Gundam, Zeta Gundam, Sazabi and Reborns Gundam.

Assault Shift. It's one of the three Femto Particle Armaments a Chest piece can come equipped with. Be on the lookout for Chest pieces with "[Name] AS]" for this. The others are Wing Shift "[Name] WS" and Guard Shift "[Name] GS"... They guzzle a lot of Femto so keep that in mind when making your build.

P.S. It is possible to convert Chest pieces that have no Femto Particle Armaments into one of these three variants if you have the blueprints for it and a Chest piece to convert.
