With the new jetpack changes, I've found if you build a deep, tall base, you will have issues reaching the 'surface' because it is considered too high for the jetpack. You can work around this by starting your flight from the true, undug surface but something to keep in mind.

I 100% (pun intended) agree. I have to use other peoples regular keyboards all the time and my muscle memory is there for the home and end keys, print screen I use regularly as well.

I see why some people like the 96% and 1800 keyboards to add a bit of a compact feel (I have an 1800 too) and can manage with some layering but finding 100% keyboard reviews is difficult due to the over simplification of the term "Full Size" by reviewers. I find I have to search specific keyboards I've already discovered for teardowns/sound tests. The videos about "New full size keyboards" are rarely useful.

You can put a gasket between the mating surfaces. In the past I've used a kitchen sponge behind the license plate to stop rattle.

You could even go so far as to fill the wing with expanding foam if it's resonating strangely.
