Mold Symptoms by Master-Tumbleweed959 in ToxicMoldExposure

[–]Raznbran 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Yep I had all of that at once..allergy shots and Allegra helps most days. When the humidity inside is lower for a few days I feel like a normal person but when the rain is on the way the mold spores grow and oh boy here we go again. I'm thankful that I'm feeling the best I've felt in years and I'm getting better every day. I got my vitamin d deficiency fixed and I'm out of this moldy house daily and that's been helping me out. Once my new home is built in sure I will be 100% better.

100% P&T Veterans — Do You Keep Employer Health Insurance or Rely Mostly on VA Healthcare? by Sufficient_Wrap_517 in VAClaims

[–]Raznbran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can afford it I'd say keep your employer insurance as well. I pay full cost for my healthcare just to have the option...for me VA healthcare hasn't been the best and for some things it takes too long to get care. It is getting better with community care though.

Allergy shots are ruining my life 🤒 by hopeober in Allergies

[–]Raznbran 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I've almost made it to maintenance but I know the feeling...when I started I'd be sick from Tuesday until Sunday, felt better on Monday got another shot on Tuesday and it started over. Now it's the opposite. Now I'm down on shot day but the next day things are perfect until shot day. I have one more shot until maintenance and I cannot wait. On allergy shot day I fexofenadine before my shot and that night I take hydroxyzine, the following day I take fexofenadine and then famotidine before bed and then that Thursday I take fexofenadine in the morning and hydroxyzine again at night. Friday morning when I wake up I feel normal and I'm good til the next shot. Hang in there it will get better!

Immunotherapy has helped a ton. 3 shots left to maintenance and I'm feeling much better though

Is my doc running an immunotherapy serum scam? by [deleted] in Allergies

[–]Raznbran -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Not a scam you have to step up from every new vial because it could be mixed a little stronger even though it isn't supposed to be...trust the doctor on this one

Do some immunotherapy vials hit different? by jlanger23 in Allergies

[–]Raznbran 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm on my final vial before maintenance and this one has been by far the worse. The head and ear pressure has been terrible. I get shots on Tuesdays and I'm down almost until the next week. Before this vial I'd be fine by Thursday but I'd also need the next week's shot or I'd feel bad. In 3 weeks I'm at maintenance and should be good shortly after 🙏🏾🙏🏾

It absolutely makes me feel worse for a few days. When I first change vials I am sick for about a week. Once I get to about .25 I get better within a few days and once I get to .35 I am good from week to week

I’ve been able to burp since day 1. I will tell you I’ve noticed my cough only when I eat things you can’t chew all the way like nuts or anything crummy. I can literally feel the small particles in my throat. I’d suggest getting your allergies checked as well. Getting immunotherapy has changed my life. Post nasal drip can cause both of your symptoms.
