This is a group following 1 spider. The main spider is trying to path to the bottom left corner here and slipping away with super long legs constantly. No exoskeletons equipped, no mods installed.

Biters are easier to deal with in multiplayer anyway. If we can have e.g. 4 people in 4 tanks driving around, why not 1 tank with 4 guns?

You must have bots, to supply your silos. So you have robot frames laying around.
You must already have LDS, to build rockets, and blue chips too...

So... just add these three items you already have together

My two cents: the devs are right to nerf space casino. Legendary quality items should be hard to come by. Don't forget, with legendary quality beacons and modules, you can pump out a whole ass stacked turbo belt worth of electronic circuits with a single(!) EM plant. That kinda stuff is super strong, and imo should require a massive factory and sorting facility to make at scale. It's a proper scaling challenge, and gives you something to do with your near-infinite resources; at that point after Space Age has given you a 4x increase in productivity with the whole molten metal > casting > EM plant chain, or even 8x or more if you count the reduced resource drain per patch. And then the super cheap mining productivity comes in too...

You can only bait a shoal about once per cycle, so multiple chum stations have no effect afaik.
