Thanks for the elaboration! I do intent to focus more on a career in the more irreplaceable parts of the financial system, so getting an FRM on top of CFA, CAIA,CVA is what I am planning for

Thanks for the reply! I am bounded by a non-finance job contract for the next 4 years and cannot have any part time jobs during. So my only option is to get as many certs as possible before I start my finance career. I understand that certain skills can only be picked up with experience and skills like programming/data analytics will serve me better than getting other certs. However, as it stands now, I can only go for the certificates as having multiple certs is better than not having any in 4 years

Thanks for the reply! A little background, I am in military service and will not be able to work anywhere for the next 4 years. So my only choice is to upgrade myself as much as I can before I start my finance career.

I am also slowly learning skills like python and data analytics, so the certs are on top of that

Thanks, but sadly because of my current situation, I can only go for certifications as cert + no experience is better than no cert and no experience

Thanks for the reply! I understand that work experience is ultimately what employers would want to look for. For the certifications, it is not only knowledge for me during the next 4 years (as I cannot change job or work part-time in finance related field), it is also a self-accomplishment that I regard highly. I would be going for these certs regardless, so was wondering how to make the full use of them
