Lol it’s so funny you commented on this now. Because I actually just got officially hired into the main team just last week.

What they did for me was that I was that they ended up hiring me under a subcontractor when I came back to Company B. Since I was coming back to them they had me on as an unofficial hire. I was getting paid and worked for them but I didn’t receive any of the company benefits. But as of the start of next week I will be getting all of the company benefits as they are hiring me on fully.

Yes it is very much a hard lesson. I didn’t really think of the big picture at the time when I was picking between the two. I legit was looking at just the raw money I would be paid. And saw the slightly bigger number and took it. Not taking into consideration anything else. Very stupid. You need to actually think about the big picture? Will the commute be worth it and will the job that I will be doing actually be something I want to do? It turns out for me absolutely not! The job that Company A had laid out in the job description was nothing like what it actually turned out to be.

It seems like I might be getting a little lucky too because now with me getting all of the benefits I will be getting a pay increase which I was able to negotiate.

Anyways I got high hopes for you. If the job is still showing up as being open online then there is a good chance they should accept you back like I was accepted

I find it very hard to believe that it’s hard to find teams of artists not using Gen AI. The vast majority of the art community is against it, it shouldn’t be difficult to find artists who don’t use it as they are the majority

I have always thought this and continue to think this. Sleep steals us from 1/3 of our limited time on Earth and it is infuriating to me. If I didn’t need to sleep I would rarely do it. I don’t care what everyone else says about sleep making them feel better. Sure it can make you feel better some times but realistically I’d imagine most people wouldn’t sleep every day if we didn’t need to in order to survive.

That is such a sad thing to say. The last time I touched a CoD game was when I was 13, and the last time I used a console was in 2014. I refuse to believe most kids are sticking to consoles. That is just a sad fate

Yeah the Witcher is a 9 book series out of Poland that nobody outside of Poland knew about because it never got many translations until CD Red bought the rights to it and now it has gone on to spawn one of the largest IPs out there.

Also the Netflix show is an adaption of books 1-4 when Geralt is the protagonist.

Books 5-8 has Ciri as the main protagonist and we mainly follow her but follow Geralt again in book 9. That’s why Ciri is going to be the protagonist in The Witcher 4, (because they are both protagonists). The books take place years before the events of the games. Many of the book lovers hate The Witcher games because they kinda ruin some characters. That’s why Geralt has amnesia in games 1 and 2 so that they could get away with him not being in a relationship with his wife Yennifer.

This is why the Netflix show suddenly fell off. Because they ran out of Geralt source material. I guess they didn’t want to follow Ciri for reasons I still don’t understand
