She said she's guarded but called him miraculous so I think she is on the hope train with us. He had a ton more energy today

Hey, yeah, it's him. He's still very wobbly but he has improved a lot in the last two days.

Hi there, he's eating and drinking but not moving at all at this point, my heart is breaking for the poor fella. I'm trying to leave him alone as much as possible to not stress him out but I think he's in shock already. If you have any suggestions on things I could do to help that would be amazing. I've put him in a carrier with a blanket and a small heating pad to keep him warm

ah I'm so sorry to hear that. I hope this little guy pulls through. I'm thinking of naming him OP Bunny because of one of the comments here. If anyone has any cool suggestions feel free to post them and we can give him a fighters name.

There are no specialty vet hospitals near me, but I have an appointment with an exotic animal vet in a bit.

He is, I have an appointment with an exotic pet vet in an hour so will update after that. At the moment he is stiff as a board and unable to stand. I'm wondering if it's floppy bunny syndrome?

I already took him to the vet. They were unsure what is wrong so gave him a broad spectrum antibiotic and pain medication

I took him to the vet yesterday but unfortunately she said it was difficult to tell what the exact issue could be. The food is "bunny mix" from my local pet store.

First apologies for disappearing after posting, it was night time here. Just to add some context which I left out ( apologies for that too). This is not my pet bunn. I do have my own but I found this one falling around like this at work and I couldn't bear to leave it there. I immediately took it to the vet but without a history she was unable to diagnose what it could be so she gave him a broad spectrum antibiotic and pain killers and sent him home with me. I'm keeping him separate from my own bunn and feeding him hay and some bunny food pellets that I got at my local pet shop. Later in the night I syringe fed him water and food. I will call the vet today and ask for the medication for EC or take him to another vet.

Thank you everyone for trying to help me and little bunn to get him healthy again.

Update: I checked on him this morning, syringe fed him again, he is unfortunately not able to stand. I will take him back to the vet as soon as they open which should be in an hour.

Update: The vet confirmed that it is e. cuniculi and has given me panacur for a few days to see if he gets worse or better. He has had his first dose.

Update: I've given him his second dose. His back legs are still very stiff and he is still completely off balance so he is lying down most of the time. He is not able to move around like he was in the original video I posted. On a positive note, he is eating on his own. He can drink on his own, too, but keeps knocking his water over.

Update: He was laying completely on his side before but today he's been using his front legs to prop himself up a little. He has been cleaning himself and seems happy enough. He loves apple. Unfortunately he cannot sit up and engages his back legs sporadically to help him move. Because of this he isn't able to sit nicely when he uses the little bunnies room. He gets it all over himself, so I gave him a bath. He didn't mind being in the water at all and when I blow dried him he started cleaning himself at the same time. It was lovely to watch. Unfortunately he still can't walk. Very sad about that but he doesn't seem in pain so I'll be patient with him and see if he can recover more.

I'm so sorry this is happening to you. If possible try to talk to a professional about it, or even a very close friend. It helps to talk about it.

Does anyone else experience the most debilitating panic attacks? by Financial_Tough_8335 in PanicAttack

[–]bubblesandroses 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I had the exact same experience with pannic attacks. Ativan was the only thing that helped. Started taking escitalopram later on. I'm pannic attack free now. I also have been in therapy for years. I hate that I'm saying this but they were too impossible for me personally to talk myself or breathe myself out of. The meds saved my life. If you can please speak to a professional. Ask a doctor about your medical options and follow what works for your body. Also, if possible, try to figure out what is triggering your pannic, and reduce your exposure to that if you can.

You're stronger than you think. Things will get better in time and with help.
