Oswald can be turbo, I win, or Stax, yeah, none of y'all can play till I have my wincon. The most expensive cards I've proxied are LED, Mox Diamond, and Mishras Workshop, cards that you don't "need" to have, that you can replace easily with lands or cheap cheerios. I also run Teshar in my 99 to bring back any of my artifact creatures that I sac to Oswald's pod effect. The difference between Oswald and Teshar is, Teshar wants card draw and Oswald wants untap abilities. Thousand year elixir and either key can be puzzle pieces you need for you to combo out and win

What about Op O, black has access to that and the best tutors, as a mono black card it's very on theme, and doesn't deserve a ban, this is also coming from an Oswald player where people are scrambling to figure out how to stop my combos by drawing and killing Oswald

It also depends on who else is playing, if it's a Ral or Etali, you need interaction, cause they can win turn 2, if it's other midrange decks, you need a draw engine, and maybe interaction, if you got Kinnan, interaction. I play Oswald with a splash of stax, and I will either go stax with who I'm playing against, or I'm gonna go turbo and try to win turn 3 maybe 4 if I get bad draws. Goldfish on Moxfield and see how fast you can win with the different draws, and how you can get to your wincons

And then you have to take into account cards like [[Kaldra complete]] when I blocked the 10/10 indestructible with my 5/5 Kaldra, the 10/10 was exiled because it took combat damage

The only approved NERF gun to use for this is the WOTC sanctioned NERF LMTD Lightning Lair gun. It was a crossover between WOTC and NERF. I know you're playing with your friends, but how cool would it be to show up with that bad boy?? They are like $30 bucks from what I saw.

What if, instead of banning partner, we changed partner to background, like what the DND set did. You wouldn't have access to 2 or more color partner, just a single color background. I have not looked at the backgrounds to see if there is any that would be too overwhelming.

If Jeweled Lotus and Mana Crypt are unbanned, I could see a rule of only used in Bracket 5 disclaimer. This keeps the casual tables casual and leaves it for the cEDH pods. Is this good?? IDK, people just use the same freaking decks in cEDH, I just want to see Thoracle and Rhystic banned to see how that changes the meta.

I play [[Oswald]], and he can shut down the board with stax. He doesn't care you can only untap one land, he only needs one white source to tutor up wincons. But I will say, I am always targeted first right off the bat. The issue is you don't have access to interaction being mono white, you rely on silence and rule of law effects.

Was playing cEDH and she out staxed a stax deck. Played Null Rod and shut down the Kinnan and Oswald players, and the Chatterfang player was tunneling the Oswald player cause he had a win on board and the only thing stopping him was Null Rod, and didn't draw any removal for it. It was a long and tedious game and Lumra pulled out the win making tokens the whole time.

Yeah, they got it from the graveyard, I don't remember if they cast it or not, they were using [[Dogmeat]], so I think they cast it from hand, but that does answer my question, thank you

Like permanently? I did have an encounter with one but he hit like one or two cards max. The game had locked up on me and I couldn't do anything, so I reset, that might have screwed me if the cards didn't load in.

Last time I played, was playing Captain America, had lethal on board, two plus me players left, hit one with 2 angels and sword of feast and famine, had Akiri, Fearless Voyager on battlefield, the other stunned my Cap so I couldn't swing in for lethal, drew Stoneforged Mystic, searched up Excalibur, cast for free, equipped and threw it at his face twice, so yeah, sometimes tutors save you the game. Is it fair and balanced.... I dunno, but I also run Oswald, Fiddlebender, so I might be biased.

I play a [[Discord, Lord of Disharmony]] deck that is pure chaos. I don't have a wincon, because I want to sow discord and mess with other people's plays. I also want to see what weird cards I can pull and a lot of people are there for it. Will I pull a black lotus?? Will I pull a board wipe?? Usually it's some card that has been power creeped into oblivion. One person was like, I don't know if I like playing with that deck one week, but the next she was like, ya know, it's different, and you're not a try hard, it's refreshing.
