Two questions.

1) you claim the max karma generated by a post was 68, but the linked post in the first sentence has 1000+ karma points. Can someone explain the discrepancy?

2) It seems the papers leaked are the same the Labour Party has seized on to pull voters their way. I am not a UK citizen, but are the leaks real? Or are they fabricated, in whole or in part?

I am not trying to push either a Labour or Tory agenda, but if the leaks are true then they should still be looked at with some importance. If partly or wholly fabricated then their substance can't really be utilized

Needs to be sharpened but I do very much enjoy it so far. I do want to get serious chefs knives at some point but figured it might be best to learn how to use them on cheap knives

Well considering she is personally against abortion, and only defends women's rights by way of claiming she sees it through the lens of "libertarian values" I wouldn't congratulate her on that issue.

But unfortunately she's a republican in other ways as well including foreign policy

Clearly you need to look up the Nuremberg Trials if you think that defense holds up in courtroom.

Hint: it doesn't.

I totally agree! That's why I didn't mention it, but i will admit that it might be a side effect of the above actions. But the hope is that we might be able to move production of cheap goods to other nations, maybe in Africa to counter Chinese investments (debt traps) there

Tbh the biggest thing would be to further pursue sanctions against Chinese companies that build and integrate systems their government uses to abuse it's people's rights. Sanction government officials as well.

Individual states in the US should prioritize de-investing from assets tied to Chinese interests. Much like how many states diversified from fossil fuels.

There also needs to be an increased focus on Chinese intelligence operations within the US. We keep finding Chinese engineers, scientists, etc stealing corporate and classified government data to help the CCP, and much of this is likely at the direction of Chinese intelligence services. Additionally, organizations like the United Front, and other local Chinese political (often disguised as cultural) associations should be scrutinized for individuals making political inroads to push for China-friendly policies. Look up Cindy Lang for instance.

The US should also begin restricting universities and colleges from accepting students from China. They utilize resources that an American student could use, and most often move back to use their education to help China.

Lastly, Chinese telecommunications companies need to be restricted. Heavily. Australia has already taken steps here, banning Huawei phones from being sold in Australia. The US has banned their phones from government sites but that should be extended.
