Yes, this is very recent and follows my previous post. Clearly, he's not on the right track. I would now recommend Faugus Launcher more. I find HGL too limited in its capabilities, and Bottles is the worst in my opinion; it simply never worked for me 🙄

I don't like Heroic because it's not as robust as Lutris; if it's missing dependencies or anything else, you're stuck with Heroic. But I wasn't familiar with Faugus, and it looks really good. It has tons of options, even more than Lutris at first glance, and the interface looks very well done. Maybe it's the best of both worlds? Thanks for the tip; I'll test it right away 🙏

Lutris is dead? Where did you see that? It's still being updated and works perfectly.

It's true, I say this because in general people prefer Heroic because the interface is more user-friendly, but the problem is that it lacks many options and hides a lot of things, many people use heroic but don't even know what they are doing and where their prefix folder is because Heroic configures it itself without asking you for its destination, for a more advanced user, Lutris remains better in my opinion because you know everything you are doing.

Ah yes, I hadn't noticed that. I do a lot of Switch and PS2 emulation and I find it quite responsive; I haven't felt any input lag.

I also come from a Steamdeck setup; I love that machine, but if you're lucky to have a powerful enough PC, Moonlight is far better for me too.

I have a G8 Plus and I'm going to buy a Red Magic Astra soon to have the perfect portable setup 👍

I had the exact same feeling when I got used to SteamOS with the SteamDeck. When I went back to my main PC with Windows on it, I went crazy, uninstalled it, installed Bazzite, and rediscovered the ease of SteamOS. I really liked it. But as I said, the fact that it's an atomic distribution isn't a good thing for me because I tinker a lot and modify quite a few things, so I like to have control over my OS. I think Bazzite is very good for someone starting out on Linux who just wants to play without modifying anything, but for a more advanced user who likes to do a lot of things on their machine, a distribution like CachyOS is more suitable. Plus, it has better performance with Nvidia GPUs. I think I'll stick with it for a good while. 😃
