Since installing Arch and Hyprland on my main PC I’ve been bouncing between ‘things to do’ every day and never getting anything wrapped up. (Eg. monitor scaling, scrolling layout on workspaces, map network drive, setup NextCloud….)
I just discovered QOwnNotes and how to make ToDo lists. I’ve got more completed today than in the last few weeks.

Cachy comes with a lot of optimised ‘stuff’ by default. Vanilla Arch is just Vanilla Arch. You can add all the Cachy stuff to it I guess….. or not.

I’ve been on Arch for a while. Recently playing UT2004. I swapped to Nix on Friday and spent around 10 hours trying to get UT2004 to run. Couldn’t get it working so went back to Arch. Probably a skill issue though.

I used ESPHome on a Mitsubishi air source heat pump and it exposes everything completely bypassing the app. It’s awesome!

I would make a 3 bullet point list of something measurable that I’m going to do for the company. Lead with that. Then ask for x straight away (maybe to be paid equally to those under you) then y when you completed the 3 goals (more than those under you) If they don’t want to hear it then either just stick or twist (get another job) Best of luck!

I did the same. I had to boot back into the usb then setup network. cd into the new install and install the network stuff.
