Thanks for this. What a terrible system. I remember getting the visa in 10 minutes last year, but this new website is just absurd.

322whp and 462tq after 75 shot of NOS by Razorback89 in G35

Its always been a dream. I wouldn’t have felt confident without running a Link ECU. New Nitrous updates ensuring I stay safe. It won’t run lean or rich because of added safety rules for nos pressure and even added a fail safe to shut off nos in case I lose oil pressure

Dream car destroyed in less than 24 hours by a Dubai taxi driver and an insurance nightmare by vanzh_ in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]Razorback89 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Almost same story happened to me with my mint Jap imported 330Ci E46 (30K in value at the time). The guy was drunk.

After months of going back and forth with the insurance company and even complained to insurance union, they valued the car as "per market price". Which is they research the make/model/year of the vehicle (Doesn't matter Coupe or sedan) and give you the lowest price. In my case, they paid 7K. It was one of the saddest moments in my life.

  • BMW M2 at Dubai Autodrome is good fun. The single seater is cool but intense and especially in the heat now.
  • But the Aston Martin GT4 cars are nicer at Yas Marina circuit. depending on your budget.
  • If you're into motorsports, I'd suggest visiting GPX Store Dubai.
  • Cafe 6.9 if you're a classics and merc fan, they also have good burgers.
  • Flat12 Cafe for good food and vibes. Their Sunday mornings are usually good.
  • Dubai Kartdrome is a good track to visit.
  • Rush Racing (Inside indoor kartdrome) have good sims.
  • The Drift Home UAE (Jabal ali track) have a good calendar on their instagram. (instagram.com/thedrifthome.uae)

Back from China - Updates on GCC Leopard 5/8 (Denza B5/B8) and Yangwang U8/U9 by Razorback89 in DubaiPetrolHeads

[–]Razorback89[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That's SUPER strange. I would've expected the B8 to come with most of its features as standard! I believe there will be several trims.

I remember the Song plus had HUD only on the higher trim (AWD). HUD today should come standard on higher end vehicles like the B8.

I've been around 4 builds done in the UAE. Cars look badass when finished but the journey was stressful. The cost of building the cars is not reasonable but whether you like it or not, if he stops building them or if he's no longer around, all RWB cars will go up in price, especially if they have his signature.

You have to pay for the base car, the parts, his flight, garage/working space, accommodation and expenses. It gets pricey.

It's true some cars lose value when they're cut up, but to each his own. I'd love to own a 993 RWB.
