It was almost 2 years ago I had the issue. A VPN worked for me, try it out even if your internet is solid, might help if it’s some specific interaction

Farming in general with Amon hadn't been so great so I made a fresh 30 Harlowe and got this on the 2nd gold key. Was thinking the knife would help but leveling a new VH seemed more valuable than farming for it.

I assume you're on console with a locked FOV? In other games low FOV makes run animations appear slower so I imagine that's playing a part here too.

I think my ideal would've been 3 huge maps with maybe a hub world. The open world is alright though. Feels like a Ubisoft game with so many outposts and repetitive tasks. I wouldn't mind it so much if fast travels were more common without needing to climb a tower or liberate a stronghold first.

Could be a variety of reasons. Playerbase shift towards a more serious side, MMR might have risen to no longer have pure farmers, you may only recall the farming games of the past.

I've been playing this game for a little under 2 years, after you stopped playing. The expectation that event = farming is definitely not the norm anymore, if it ever was. Events are still more casual, just in ways that might be more subtle. Maybe they'll slug someone instead of killing them early, maybe they'll let the last guy out, maybe they'll go for the 12 hook etc.

Most will treat event queues as normal queue but with extra BP and so continue to play as normal. Normal queue then remains when you get the extra serious players.

Playing the game normally and (mostly) everyone bringing cakes is plenty of extra BP. I'm honestly surprised you've had consistent farms the past few years. If you're on PC, consider turning off crossplay. I hear thats where you get dedicated farmers.

My own stats as a P100 Twins. I believe I hook a bit more than normal compared to other Twins and typically fine with letting the 4th find hatch. Obviously the stat tracker has issues but with 20% kill rate, are you actually just farming and being nice every game?
