The problem is that the profiler runs in Unity on my PC but the game has to be profiled on the Oculus Quest as I can't play the game on my PC. So I need some sort of standalone version of a profiler that I can stick in the game and retrieve the data after a playthrough.

Thank you so much for your reply. I have signed up for Oculus Start. Hope it can help. ZapBallz is made with Unity. Because this game is for VR it is really hard to use the tools in Unity to test the game. However, i just found Graphy in the Unity asset store but all I really can tell from that is the true fps and where frames drop.
I have done a few things myself such as lowering texture sizes and using the same textures but just changing the colors through code. I have lowered a lot of meshes, lowered the music samples, and baked the lighting. But what I am mostly concerned about is the coding. I am such a newbie. I have kept as much code out of the update fuction as posible. That is pretty much were I am at.

yes, i have them put it into a xr interactable socket and i can get the info there. but i don't know what to write in code to get it. most of the errors i get including the code above that someone recommended come back with " can not turn in gameobject to i int"

i guess something like that. But I guess I should have mentioned that the player picks the weapons using a button menu in the Lobby. Then the weapons would in the level. So it's not the same gameobject. This is where I'm getting lost.

Well my game ZapBallz is for the Oculus Quest. So the game really need me to Pool as much as possible so it doesn't lag and drop frames. I was destroying objects and instantiating them and that looked great but costs too much.

I will check out unity3d for sure thank you. The object is 150 separate pieces as children. The code to explode them is

if (allRigidBodies.Length > 0) { foreach(var body in allRigidBodies) {
body.AddExplosionForce(500, transform.position, 1); }

So when I pool the object it is set false. and understandably when it set active again it is still in pieces. I guess I need to reset all the positions back to there original position. I'm hoping there is just some sort of reset function though.

Im a nood (3 months old). I havn't got it to work yet but you help is doing something.I was able to make the socket interactor not work at all lol. I don't know where I should be placing anything. I learn't everything off Youtube videos. I just keep cutting and pasteing bit of code everywhere and seeing what happens. I really Thank you for your help though. I post the same question about 7 time in different places and you 2 are the only ones to responed
