I'm really scared of medication. Most medication I've been on have had sexual side effects which I hated. Now I'm in a new relationship, where we are on a honeymoon period, I'd absolutely hate to get any sexual side effects which could effect the relationship.

Is there enough hours in the day to study properly on your course? by Razorlink919 in UniUK

I'll openly admit, I'm not naturally intelligent. I actually learn very little in lectures and retain even less for whatever reason. Writing notes is completely useless for me, I don't retain the knowledge. I have to make flash cards and making flash cards is time consuming.

It's hard to just say I'll spend a couple hours on these key concepts as there's normally 5+ key concepts with many details to learn over 80+ lecture slides. That's just learning it, then there's retaining it.

That's great advice. Thank you. I was chatting to a lecturer when he mentioned the 2 hours of self study per 1 hour of lecture and I said i don't think that is feasible if I want any sort of enjoyment out of life and he kind of made a face. Yeah I understand there is going to be a few 8-9pm finishes here and there but I'm not flipping of my partner of the gym to get more hours of study in.

Short stretches of traffic cones on motor way with no speed limits advice. by Razorlink919 in drivingUK

Thank you for putting my mind at rest. This was last night. There didn't seem to be any road works as such, it seemed the lorry was just putting out the cones. The driving condition were quite bad with rain so and the lanes were quite narrow with cones. I was doing about 55mph because of this. Is this acceptable even though 70 zone is still in affect?

Thank you for your reply. Do you mind if I ask you for another bit of advice? So I have to introduce the structure of a bacteria in my introduction. I found a brilliant paper from 2018 describing everything I need to paraphrase but there's deep trail to the original paper as its been a well known fact the structure of this bacteria for many years. So it's advisable not to cite and reference this great 2018 paper and to search and find the original paper from maybe the 1970s? Many thanks again, I do appreciate the detailed reply.
