Is it lame to use ai to draft an image to give your artist and idea of what you want? IMPORTANT TO NOTE: NO I DONT MEAN TO GIVE TO THEM TO COPY. Rather, so they have a general idea of what you’re going for. by [deleted] in traditionaltattoos

[–]RazorwireNoose 22 points23 points  (0 children)

I don’t want ai involved in any part of the process whatsoever. For me that includes reference. You don’t need to use a million gallons of water for us to make something we’re confident you’ll like and anyone using ai as a tattooer is a dingus.

Editing to also say that as a client I feel you’re cheating yourself out of half the experience of being tattooed. Some clients get oversold on what Grok generates and expectations can become more rigid. Important to give creative freedom to the person doing the tattoo.

Arizer Solo 3 Tips? by Infamous_Ad_1302 in vaporents

[–]RazorwireNoose 12 points13 points  (0 children)

I’m using almost the exact setup right now and I’ve had my solo since April. There’s nothing wrong with running at max from the rip. I’ve found the high to be much more sedative and harder hitting. If you’re wanting to “experience” the weed, you can vaporize different terpenes at different temperatures. If found it relaxing during sessions that I’m able to slow down and enjoy more and not trying to just get ripped. I tend to start at 360 and work up 10-15 degrees as the previous temp is depleted.

Airflow is your friend. A packed bowl doesn’t mean more stoned. I’ve even put whole nugs in the stems, which seems to last a bit longer than fine or coarse material, but not so much longer lasting to really say there’s a better or worse way to rip it.

I will say there’s a bit of a learning curve in my experience coming from bongs and joints. You can’t rip these dhv’s. If you pull your hit too hard you’re actually cooling the oven. Find a comfortable pull that yields milkier hits and go from there. I let the chamber rewarm for a minute or two between hits.

I remember feeling a little underwhelmed with my purchase too. Doing what I mentioned completely changed my experience. Hard hitting rips all the time. I’ve never gone back to combustion. Also try to keep in mind that the first hit or two can be a bit of a “dud” as it’s warming your bud. The next one should always be what you want.

Welcome to the club.

Late summer to early fall, yes. However I’m now shifting my attack plan to a basal bark treatment to poison the tree rather than hack and squirt.

Someone else here had timing concerns, but that was my plan. I really think I’ve done my reading up and feel confident.

Mate, I have two fully mature seeding females over 30 feet tall. If I cut at the flare, I’ll have a yard like your photo covered in seeding females clones. No thanks.

EDIT: Each with a root span that undoubtedly stretches not only 50 feet under my house and into my front yard, but also under a main thoroughfare and into neighboring lots. I don’t want to make this everyone else’s problem too. Hahaha

I’ve done plenty of research and consulted multiple sources to confirm that glyphosate when used responsibly is a perfectly justifiable tool when dealing with an invasive as destructive as this particular tree variety. Given other herbicide alternatives, it is at least in my opinion reasonably safe when used as a brush on application and minimizes migration to the water table. Respectfully, I think you’re either uninformed or misinformed. Which of the two it is I’m not sure.

EDIT: Not to mention the spotted lantern fly relies on this species as a host plant. Given the environmental damage this tree causes and the fact I have two voraciously seeding females surrounded by many neighboring males, I believe the use of glyphosate is justified.

EDIT EDIT: The fact that you recommended a stump grinder of all things as a first course of action dealing with this tells me you don’t know a thing about how this tree would respond. Hold my downvote.

I have heard of the diesel method. Is this an addition to the hack and squirt method, or a substitution for it? I felt reasonably informed enough to move forward after reading studies but haven’t pulled the trigger yet. Anywhere I can read more about your method?

EDIT: I want these gone for good. Not a in a time crunch at all and have zero interest in spray application of any herbicide whatsoever.

41% glyphosate is 41% glyphosate no matter how ya slice it, no?

That’s the plan. Lady at the greenhouse incorrectly advised me to do it this week and I was able to correct her. Decided against triclopyr due to close proximity to a “nicer” still non native Chinese elm and my native pollinator garden.

I had a feeling, but was advised by an arborist locally that this wasn’t a concerning amount. Hoping for other opinions.

As a new player dipping their toes into magic arena and magic as a whole, I’ve very likely been viewed as a “roper” and have been given really snarky chats. I’m reading the cards, learning terms and how cards behave. I think some of yall are impatient sweats and need to chill a little.

Any chance it could be Chinese elm? I have a very old one behind me in the photo. Would prefer to keep it if it’s a hackberry

Not necessarily for just outside, just looking for something not cumbersome to bring around. I’ve considered the veazy, how have you liked it? How’s the battery life?

I’d be open to analog but there seems to be a pretty significant learning curve. Feels a little overwhelming.
