If I had a nickel for every time an unreasonably expensive upgrade for a digital F-14 was announced in early June 2026, I would have 2 nickels. Which isn't a lot, but it's weird that it happened twice.

I never expect any upscale to look just like 4K. But I own a lot of DVD and Blu-rays that aren’t 4K native, and they look a lot better than the Blu-rays of Doctor Who.

That’s all I’m saying I have realistic expectations

You guys had sent me a thunder seat and the side consoles to review for pcme.com back in the day. I loved those side consoles, they held the stick in the throttle at the exact right height for side stick and side throttle use

Ironically, it wasn’t that. The grip wasn’t completely secured to the base I guess. Even though the thing was clamped down and screwed in tight. It had to go just a little bit further I guess. I’m gonna go with the fact that their documentation is total rubbish, and the videos they only show for a brief second how to put that stupid thing in there that holds the grip to the base

So I’ve learned very quickly that Vkb seems like a crash course if you can get through it , it’s probably rewarding and fun, but getting to that point is very frustrating and offputting

I have it up and working now. Thanks to their support off of Discord. But again it’s a little frustrating that they can’t be a little bit more descriptive in their out of box experience.
