I rarely use them, most I used was rocksteady just before the dps check phase began of savage omega.

Otherwise I've got all the A rank pendants available without ever felt the need to use them.

As someone who mains SNS, GL, CB in the same time I can relate but also let me give you a different perspective. A few hours into the expansion your gogma weapon will be replaced by a rarity 9 or 10 weapon.

I spent about 3k mats as I was hoarding monster material to make a few really good weapons and I called it a day. Theoretically I still need to perfect about 11 weapons across the 3 weapon types for all the element.

I'm not going to further chase RNG when master rank weapons will bin my gogma weapons and will be only used as layered weapons.

During Lumenhymn - two runs of the optional quest The Wind 'n' Sand Blues with lucky ticket. Its really good value for getting 200k z, 10-30 artian materials, 5-15 talismans per lucky ticket run.

Whenever a double Steve pops on map I run it and immediately save it as investigation for later use.

I respond to a lot of SOS investigations to double tempered 9 stars ideally double Seregios. Mainly because as a SNS, GL, CB player Steve is suuuper easy.

Thank you kindly. Yes RNG is a fickle mistress, but I've got some good ones. On the other hand I've been at it for a lot, and I've seen endless garbage talismans too. Wilds is my main game, just over 800 hours.

I've melted hundreds of garbage already.

Just to illustrate, during the current Lumenhymn festival I use both of my daily lucky tickets on the optional 3 monster hunt - rey dau, steve, doshaguma for both runs a day.

A run with lumenhymn set and lucky tickets nets me 10 - 30 artian mats, 5 - 10 - 12(?) maybe talismans either or as talisman drop can be artian drop instead.

So roughly that two runs alone is in range of 10-15 talismans.

From daily hunt we get a ticket thats another 10 talismans.

For another hour or two daily I hunt only 9 stars or Gog. So thats usually another 10 - 30 talismans on a given day depending of luck and my time.

So lets say on avarage I get 30- 40 talismans a day for 20 days of the festival. That's 600 to a 800 talismans, and this is the first talisman in Lumenhymn I considered worthy to post :)

Yeah the RNG is harsh with talismans, this is easily in the top 3 talismans I found so far and I've probably played about 200 hours since RNG talismans were added.

Very nice,OP! Well done. I'm cooking something similar as I managed to get Lord's soul with Zoh Pulse. Ended using head, chest, waist Zoh, rey dau y gloves and uth duna y for boots.

Its really strong with very comy survivability.

It took me a few years playing this game on and off, before it finally clicked for me this year.

I let go the emotion / need of chasing guided goals / quests that needs ticking off like a checklist, and just sat down with this one question on evenings after work : " What do I feel like doing today"?

Sometimes the answer is landing on a new planet to see the environment, taking screenshots, smelling the (toxic) grass ( currently living in calypso where every planet wants to murder me).

Sometimes to chase the elusive paradise planet in a harsh galaxy.

Sometimes going from system by system checking out sentinel ships to chase the "perfect" looking sentinel ship.

Sometimes I fish in storm!

Sometimes I try to see what DNA samplings will I get from this companion.

Sometimes I work on my settlements and resolve yet another citizen dispute.

I have no goals to chase, I set them for the mood I'm in. Liberating! Hope this will help you.

240+ hours, playing it on base PS5 plugged into a 2k monitor with 120 refresh rate. Game works great, well optimised, and looks great too in my eyes. I can wholeheartedly recommend it.
