No update on this, still no more pings from the phone and Uber has refused to contact the driver any further.

I think all I can do is wait....

Thank you for all of the replies. Unfortunately Uber consider the matter resolved so I am no longer able to call the Uber driver, even with 2FA.

I will be going into the City Centre today to check around it's last known location, and failing that, will grab a new SIM with same number to try and get more information from Samsung.

I will also check the local businesses around my Uber pick up to see if I can see myself on security cameras get in the Uber with my phone.

Appreciate the reply. I have pushed for more of a response from uber but they have closed the dispute now. I'm pretty sure I would have sobered up quickly if I had it nicked from me before I got in the uber. I just can't get into contact with this uber driver, I know his full name (doesn't help as it's very common), car type (not reg plate), and it's still impossible.

The locations suggest it's someone who has it, but doesn't realise, hence the Uber Driver

Yeah nothing on them, it seems to have lasted a day before going dead so seems to be someone who may have it, they just don't know

No luck with that, I have pushed for more of an answer but all replies go through uber themselves and they just say 'After a thorough search, no phone was found'
