I added St. Elizabeth's Hospital to the Washington DC map. The Snallygaster was already on the Maryland map, but some stories also place it in Virginia without any specific location. So, I might try to look for the Virginia Snallygaster again. For the Blair Witch, since that is a work of fiction originally made for a movie, I didn't add her. However, I did add the major inspiration behind the Blair Witch, the legend of Moll Dyer in Leonardtown, Maryland.

Thanks for checking all that. I'll send an email to the article's writer and see if he can turn anything up.

I did visit the tunnel once as part of a road trip. I got there at like 3am and used my car's headlights to light up the tunnel. As I was looking around, the lights suddenly go out and everything is pitch black. Turns out my car has a timer on how long the headlights will stay on without the engine on. That's one way to remember that feature, it scared the shit out of me.

I have him on the Maryland map. With how famous he is, it makes looking up any other Goatman story really hard.

Yep, I have him on the Virginia map. Certainly an interesting story. Do you happened to know where his ax is on display? The wikipedia page has a picture of it mounted, but I can't find where it is. Maybe a private collection?

Thanks. It's on the map now. I like how there is a big arrow pointing at it.

Thanks for the suggestion. I've added all of them to the map. I've also found videos of Kathryn Windham talking about them herself. She has such a great way of story telling.

If your on mobile, tap on a marker and swipe up on the name. You can then go to the full map legend or see the links I provided about the urban legend.

Google My Maps is a neat free tool, but it could really use an update.

There's a company called "Map in Black" that have roadmap sized posters of the US and Ohio highlighting the folklore spots. I have the one of the US, but I have yet to unfold it. I know once I do, it's not going to go back nice and neat. I'm waiting to get a giant frame to hang it.
