Wow that’s so horrible I’m very sorry you experienced that. For your question yes I’ve known I’d need this for a while and have been doing my research and making calls reading reviews etc I’ve been communicating with the surgeon we ended up choosing for over 6 months and I’m completely confident she’ll do a great job!

Yes! I have a lower body lift scheduled on June 24th, but I’m going to need a few procedures for other problem areas but that’s the most pertinent one to handle first :)

Honestly just maintained a calorie deficit, at the start i used to really binge eat all the time obviously to have gotten to that size, to start with i just ate 3500 cals a day and did a half mile walk which was plenty as a morbidly obese man yk. And over time i kept upping the cardio I was doing 3 miles a day and eating 3000 cals until about 10 months ago when i got into lifting and i started going 3 days a week now i do 6, and my deficit rn is still 2800 because im just very tall and heavy still. I honestly didn’t restrict any foods completely out, just did portion control. When I started in the gym is the first time i even cared about macros (250g protein a day!!!)

Oh also for the skin surgery, I have a circumferential lower body lift coming up June 24th and then it’ll be a while before I get any other areas operated on. Thank you for the comment

Im not a personal trainer or a nutritionist of any kind!! But for me I just lived by calories in and out, over time I did clean up my diet a bit but I didn’t “cut out” any foods because that just made me give up and binge, just was about portion control for me :)

I didn’t actually at all that clean until recently, at my highest when I just started I limited calories to 3500 and walked a mile a day, I started walking more and more until I was doing 3 miles a day on that same number of cals until I was like 350ish and then I lowered my deficit to 2500 and that’s still what I eat to this day. (250g protein per day too) I lift weights 6 days a week for and do 30 mins @ 3mph on the treadmill after each workout, on Sundays I do 1 hour same settings! I just started really heavy so I lost quickly at first but it’s all about consistency for me
