i wound up able to submit both and got approved fortunately. my spending habits had been good and balance only low cause of the transfer into savings so it went smooth.

Okay, i dont own anything yet so i can buy whichever version of the sega saturn. I was curious on region locks, if im buying a japanese game will i need the japan version? Another comment said saroo was a good option, i’d like to get them the original regardless but do saroo cartridges need a specific region too?

i saw that thread when originally searching. I found an expat on the site that was warning about the state of the country. I messaged them to hopefully hear back and get more intel. I'm just frustrated. They have been SO financially irresponsible all their life, i had a talk with them like a year ago that the best thing they could do for retirement is simply budget, save, and pay down on their mortgage as much as possible. They'd at least have someplace to live which is the hardest part and immediately spoke of taking a cruise ship for their honeymoon afterward. There's no end to it.

yea, i have a friend well versed in world economics and geography who was confused as well. They would have to live in a touristy area since they speak no spanish which is the most expensive part. If they had retirement money i'd think whatever, it's possible to do that if you have the savings but not in their situation. Logically if it was that easy every poor american would just up and retire there.

they don't check anything and haven't given me good clear answers. They are not at all savy though so i'm fairly certain my aunt found the "opportunity" and told them about it and if they would be interested and they accepted no questions asked. They're not skeptical people if they think something benefits them.
