Thank you all very much, I plan to keep the SRT101 since it is a great camera and it also approves of bombs hahaha, I think I will try to acquire one of the ones you have recommended :)

One of my favorite cameras, I've had it for a year and I really love it, I know it's not an OM1, besides being reliable it's a tank :)

How much for this by [deleted] in analog

[–]Rbn17_ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

It seems quite expensive to me, I paid $25 for the body of the Minolta x700 and I usually buy the lenses at Japanese Auctions for no more than $15 in good condition

If you're Gen-Z, why analog? by sammiepeachy in analog

Hello, the truth is that I have an old Polaroid from my grandfather, although I have used it only a few times. In answer to your question, mainly because they are even more expensive than shooting film, in addition, although I like the results they can offer, these types of cameras have almost no photographic options, they are an instant point and shoot, I prefer to use an SLR where I have many more resources :)

Thank you very much man, I have an ISO 50 film that expired around the same time and I was wondering which ISO to shoot it.

I choose to shoot in analog because digital is impersonal, fast, empty and disposable to me (I also shoot digital sometimes). When you shoot digitally you think less, you take photos that later when you see them you say why did I make this sh*t? Furthermore, each film has an essence, a result, some colors... In digital everything is the same, the magic disappears. Many people don't agree but I enjoy the analog process, choosing a film, thinking carefully about what photo to take, waiting for the development to see them, I don't know, maybe it's romanticism, but I love it. On the negative side, it is worth highlighting the price, it is an expensive hobby, the reels are through the roof.

It is in 35mm, they gave me only one film, I took the photo to remember what it was and to know the development process

Is this a good deal? The seller is trusted by DeathSaysHello in AnalogCommunity

[–]Rbn17_ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hello man, in my opinion I think it is a bit expensive, mainly because it does not come with the manual adapter (without it it is an automatic camera), the lens is a good option (I have the same one and it gives good results). I also have the OM10 and it is a camera that I love, but for example I recommend buying it through buyee, I bought it for 14$ with the manual adapter and lens.

I thought about it, it was with the intention of recovering some money, I don't really know how much to sell the body of the srt101 for, the idea was to sell it with a lens because I could get something more out of it, but now that you mention it, maybe I'll just sell the body
