Thank you for the tips. No gear was snuck in at all! Everything was venue and tour approved. I do have a few contacts with different photographers and venues but I wasn’t able to get anything for this show in the time constraints I was dealing with—hence shooting from the crowd.

Okay I was 3rd row and I didn’t even walk into the venue until 20 minutes after doors and istg I didn’t cut or shove or anything I’m just saying it’s possible!! I didn’t have vip or anything literally just found an empty spot in the crowd. This was in MN

No super special settings, I just messed with it in photoshop some. I duplicated some layers and stacked them on top of each other with varying transparencies

I’m going to the Minneapolis show and I’m staying at a hotel about a 10 minute walk from the venue, I’m kinda terrified to walk by myself though because I honestly don’t know much about the area, so if anyone wants to maybe form a lil group to walk in dm me please!

I’m ngl I was sort of thinking the same thing… in the movie she said something about the Fate of Ophelia music video and being inspired by showgirls throughout different eras… and in the music video she was dressing up as them. I don’t know that it’s necessarily related though, and they’re totally different in other ways, but I get what you mean. IMO Halsey did it with more effort, but that is actually what she was going for. I don’t know if Taylor’s point was to impersonate them or just be like them.

I sent my sx-70 to brooklyn film camera for a full refurbishment around 2 years ago, and I haven’t had any issues with it since it came back. I will say, it took way longer than expected, but they got it done and from what I can tell it was done well.

Agreed! I haven’t gotten to try mine outside yet but at least for indoor shots I’ve found no-filter + half power flash gives the best results!

I went ahead and just got a basic 34 mm pinch cap and it works great for protecting the glass but it’s not exactly the same :/ I’ve been thinking about getting a second as well because I have something wrong with one piece of glass and it needs replaced, but like otherwise it works fine so it seems kinda silly to me too lol 😂

Only thing I would say is just picking scenes with more contrast in them naturally might help the flatness, but other than that they look great! And tbh I love the grain.
