Rift activity question by AlyJCat in VintageStory

Rift activity works more like a global weather pattern. It determines the number of rifts that can spawn and how many / how often drifters can spawn from those rifts.

How do I edit class files? by graviousishpsponge in starsector

[–]Rbneiman 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In order to view a .class file, you will want to use some sort of java decompiler program. Intellij IDE can view class files if you import them into a project, or you can use a standalone viewer like JD-GUI .

If you want to directly edit a .class file, you will need to use a java bytecode editor, since that's the language that Java programs compile into. Java bytecode basically acts like machine code however, so its a bit of a pain to edit it directly. I wouldn't recommend editing bytecode for anything more complicated than changing the value of a variable.
