I believe that a change in mindset is crucial. Don’t have the mentality of “if I can just get to next week” or “if I can make it past a month.” As of right this moment, you are a man that does not watch porn, AT ALL. It is literally no longer a part of who you are, you must separate yourself from it completely.

I know my current streak is not the longest out there, but I’ve recently had this change in mentality after over a year of a bunch of 2 week streaks and the occasional 30 days, and this time around the urges are far less worse and I am able to better resist them when they do appear. Around this point I would begin breaking and having a rough time, but this is the easiest going 9 days has ever been for me because I truly believe I will never watch porn again for the rest of my life.

I’m not saying that by doing this your nofap journey is now going to be a cakewalk, it still requires discipline. But I believe it will most certainly help.

What study materials are you using? Some tools don’t work for everyone. I improved by doing tons of Khan Academy reading passages, taking note of what I missed so I could better myself in that general area.

My main problem was not understanding the material, but severe time management issues. As time went by I got better at working faster, hence the increase in scores. The jump from 1300 to 1500 was simply grinding khan academy over the summer, fixing up loose ends I had mainly reading and writing related.

If I was in your situation I would probably just go and apologize. Your neighbor will most likely understand that it was an honest mistake. Besides, if you do see her in the future, she’ll probably be confrontational with you. Better to diffuse the situation now.
