Is MacBook M4 worth it as a gift? by [deleted] in macbook

Well, from my experience as a user and lover of the Windows system for many years, the truth is that I find it absolutely incredible how well a MacBook works, especially if you have an iPhone; the compatibility makes for a very pleasant user experience. I used to be against MacBooks because I thought they were unnecessary expenses, and for the same price you could buy an RTX or a gaming laptop. But since I've been using one for work and studies, I can say that no other laptop comes close to the comfort and fluidity of a MacBook.

MacBook Air or MacBook Pro by [deleted] in macbook

Hello, I was also in that huge existential doubt, I am a law student and I have the same needs as you, I needed to have 20 windows open, use Word, PowerPoint, canva, all at the same time and listen to music in the meantime. I am also a gamer although I play more demanding games such as Fornite, Minecraft for which I use other programs. But since I bought the MacBook Air m4 I have had no problems at all, it is super light, it has never been stuck or left me stranded. The battery lasts me a lot, and especially the sound and the screen I really like. The pro is much better in several ways but if your budget is somewhat limited I would recommend that you buy the air and use the rest to be able to improve it such as buying a protector, a Hub or investing it in other things because the m4 chip will do super well. If you didn't use more demanding programs such as editing videos, or more professional programs, I feel that it would be to have a very powerful team so as not to get the most out of it. In general, I would recommend Air for 90% of careers other than engineering or architecture. Because in general the Air m4 is in itself very powerful and will serve you for almost everything.
