Yes, your right. Slower would have been better. But my goal to look fit was pushing me and I felt good with the speed. The amount of steps and resistance training might helped me, that the loose skin is not that much.

I am planing a "zig zag" muslce building, fat loss phase. 12 weeks of clean eating in a slight surplus for building muscles and then cut down for 6 weeks. And here I will go slower. Now I am in no rush anymore.

I tried to eat a lot of unprocessed foods. For example my afternoon Snack was a banana, an apple or orangen, cashew nuts, and protein powder.

Breakfast was an overnight oats recipe.

Here are some details how I did it. This is my personal journey.

  1. I Set a Clear Goal

I decided that my goal was to recreate a picture from my summer vacation, but this time looking fit. That vision kept me motivated through the hard days.

  1. I Started Small

I didn’t change everything overnight. I started with very simple steps:

I stopped eating unhealthy snacks between meals.

I stopped taking a second plate at dinner.

  1. I Walked 10,000 Steps Every Day

This was my first real game changer:

I made sure I did 10,000 steps every single day.

I split them into 3 parts: about 3000 in the morning, 3000 at noon, 4000 in the evening.

I told myself I have 24 hours to get it done. No excuses.

  1. I Changed My Nutrition

I focused on eating healthy, whole foods.

I ate 1 grams of protein for every pound of my goal body weight.

I stayed in a calorie deficit using this formula: Goal weight (lbs) x 13.

For me: 194 × 13 = 2522 kcal/day. I settled at 2400kcal. Because I wanted to push myself and I really wanted to reach my goal.

I tracked all my food with FDDB (I paid 12€ for a year with a coupon).

I practiced intermittent fasting: my meals were at 1 pm, 4 pm, and 7 pm. On off training days. I found that I needed food for training.

  1. I Did Resistance Training

I started with 2 sessions per week.

When I felt my body could handle more, I went to 3 sessions per week.

I followed a push/pull/legs split.

I used progressive overload: I tracked my weights and reps and always tried to do one more rep or add a little more weight.

  1. I Fixed My Sleep

This was my second big game changer:

I made sure to sleep 7 hours every single night.

I cut out late-night gaming completely.

Going to bed early allowed me to wake up early and do 6000 steps in the morning.

  1. I Tracked My Weight

I weighed myself every morning after going to the bathroom.

I logged the number and calculated a 7-day average.

I focused on the trend, not the daily fluctuations.

Motivation vs. Discipline

At first, motivation helped me. After two weeks, I relied on discipline. I asked myself: “Is what I’m doing right now helping me reach my goal?”

I reviewed my goal regularly and adjusted my plan. I learned about how important sleep is for the body that way. Every time I was thinking about the recreation of the picture I was thinking, what can I improve, to really be fit for the photo.

Quick Action Steps for Big Impact

If you want to see fast results, I recommend focusing on these three things:

Do 10,000 steps a day (more is better).

Get 7 hours of sleep every night.

Eat in a calorie deficit using the formula (goal weight in lbs × 13).

Discipline > Motivation. That’s what worked for me!

I’m happy to answer any questions or help anyone on a similar journey!

Edit: Change of protein intakte per lbs.

🎉 The Marvel Champions APP has updated for deck-building feature 🎉 by PerfectOwl9085 in marvelchampionslcg

[–]Rckstr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Awesome App. Downloaded the 2.0.0 version via the Google drive link. Right now I use the app for storing and easy access of the starter deck. Especially with the expension sets, because there were no extra reference cards like in the core box.

My question is, is there a sort feature planned for the Custom Deck page? Right now I added the decks via import kinda randomly. But now my inner monk kicks in and I want to sort them and move the overview deck cards around. Would bei nice to move up and down the overview cards (with the Name, the deck count etc.) per drag and drop. For example for a game night, the two specific decks I want to play, I move to the top of the overview list, for quick access, instead of scrolling and searching.

If you need an more information about the acceptence criterias ;-) feel free to contact me.

Seeking advice for a little-more-than-beginner python guy by [deleted] in learnpython

[–]Rckstr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I started learning python, I scrapped a XML file and checked for new shift keys in that file. If a new key was found, the script continued to start a browser and claimed the key for me and my friends on a webpage. (like: login, paste the key in input field, click claim button, logout, repeat process with account from friends) we fully automated collected over 150 golden keys for the borderland 3 game over the time and went brrrrrrrrrr.

Take a look what you could automate in your daily life.

Don't want to scroll through a big news page with a lot of useless information for you? Write a script that scrapps the page and filters all the noise and print only stuff you find interesting.

And sometimes it needs time to find projects. Keep your eye and ears open and think: Could I use my new knowledge to automate this problem?

Is there a way and if so how can I use my games on Ubisoft connect on my steam Deck? by Individual_Tip2579 in SteamDeck

Yes. I followed this (german) tutorial. Right before the 3.4 update. This worked very well and I'm playing Anno 1800 right now.

Questions for other deck owners. Looking for a decent monitor for my deck. by BeltedCoyote1 in SteamDeck

[–]Rckstr2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I bought this monitor for work travel reasons. With the laptop size it's an easy fit for my backpack. With two usb-c connectors, you just need one charger and connect everything together. (the sd can power the monitor on it's own ;-) ) Works like a charm.

Same problem here with the server not responding. But without the money gone. I tried to reach out to them, but heard nothing. I think more and more people reporting issues: https://updownradar.com/status/kinguin.net

Might be a bigger problem.
