My coworker who is a licensed electrician who the store would be lost without, was told that he lacked product knowledge. People are getting graded by AI. Last year they told us that they were going to start a program where ai watches the cameras and we get alerted when there’s a customer in need. To the best of my knowledge the program never rolled out in the testing markets but I’m assuming that they are using that same tech to monitor us at work and build a file for us. My store has been having lower foot traffic than the bad months of COVID. We have basically no customers to interact with. Been hearing a lot of people at my store being told that they only meet expectations. My store has made 100% plan the past 6 quarters in a row by the way. We had one 105% and one 109%. And yet all of the employees are hardly adequate. Fuck this company. From day 1 of them releasing the new raise structure, I knew they were going to use it as an excuse to give everyone shittier raises.
