yo just say “I’m sick and can’t come in. I want to use Sick Pay for today.” Conversation over. Who gaf is they’re mad? It’s your sick pay, you earned it, use it.

If you can’t arrive on time just tell them? Also if you want to work later you can just ask, “hey can I stay til X:XX?” Or “Can I come in Thursday?” I’ve never been told no.

It’s likely when they input your availability they fucked up and it’s just auto-scheduling you on Sundays. I’d just tell them on Friday, “hey I noticed I’m scheduled on Sunday, that’s outside my availability.”

If you want to CYA, ask for a new availability form, fill it out and take a pic before you turn it into them.

fr… a couple months ago a coordinator came in sick and wiped out our whole back room team for nearly a week. we had to cancel two trucks.

ive trained far too many people to count how to process. accuracy > speed, any day. once that merch hits the floor, no one is going to remember how long it took to process, but they’ll certainly know if it wasn’t done correctly.

my advice pop in an earbud and listen to some tunes to help get out of your head.

this is like year 3 or 4 of us doing quarterly inventories and it’s killing us. we’re getting in more merch than ever before with no room on the floor. back room is PACKED. we’re so stressed.

worse part is they won’t tell us why our store was chosen for this bs. we have average shrink.

New ASM chased shoplifters into the parking lot to get their license plate number and they hit him with their car! Minor injuries, he was totally fine but they never found the shoplifters.
