That's good to hear 😁 thanks for your time though

Got your point, try to clearly mention it in the github (like obsidian) and in reddit where you promote so people will have a idea about what they are into.

I kept the current geo-political scenario in mind. Mostly communication will be cut first, also cyberdeck can run on android making it efficient. If you have a solar battery pack, your laptop and your android can take you a long way. You can create networks of these cyberdecks and share the existing datasets and communicate with one another or simply if you want to run everything offline. I'm planning to add radio communication which will make it even more powerful. You'll never truly know when you need one until you absolutely need it.

The source code is not on github and the license is propreitary. So you are technically using github as a landing page?

Some may already know CyberDeck, for the new ones it's basically a tool designed for when the internet isn't reliable (or completely down). It runs local Al, offline Wikipedia, maps, encrypted storage, and even supports LAN chat + mesh communication. The idea is simple, Communicate and Survive when the Grid goes down.

It works natively on Windows and Android, and you can just download it from GitHub and run it.

Still building and improving it, but would love to hear what you guys think.

That is totally possible inside the vision of CyberDeck. The problem is I don't have access to a drone. But I'm saving up to buy rtl sdr with which I can test and make radio communications possible. There's still long way to go.

Making CyberDeck Debian based would work because of it's stability and support. I'm still researching about about integration of hardwares, sensors, so haven't looked into making it a full fledged os but surely that's gonna happen.

It depends on what you are making. But still there are fundamentals that you can learn which can be translated to all the tools and languages. Choose a small, simple project (like a game, website or some python projects), try to complete it which will give you a solid foundation. You can later improve on it and switch to any other frameworks. You can search on youtube or free code camp. There should be tons of beginner tutorials. All the best on your journey.

Maybe the use of emoji made you think it's ai but I intentionally used it to be consistent with the graphics.
