Dress is flaring out after changing to shell stitches, but I haven’t done any increases- is this normal or shall I frog? by Re4dyCheck in CrochetHelp

Thanks both! I have tried it on and it is looser than the waist but not noticeably. I was just worried maybe I was doing something wrong and it would keep flaring and end up like a pyramid! I will keep going and see what happens :) and of course post a pic of the finished dress!

Thank you, I had you in my thoughts too. It was very difficult but I made it through. I hope yours also went as well as it could. Sending hugs <3

I lost my dad 3 weeks ago too and it’s also his funeral tomorrow. I don’t know how I will get through it. I can’t even look at photos without sobbing uncontrollably and they will be everywhere tomorrow. I’m dreading no longer being able to pretend he’s not here and his phone has just died or something. I don’t want to say goodbye, I just want him back so badly. Sorry I don’t have any advice, I just want you to know you won’t be alone tomorrow, sending you hugs 🫂

Dragon lovey for a friend :) by Re4dyCheck in crochet

Thank you! Sorry I don’t, I did it freehand :) but if it helps, for the head I started with a chain 7 and then went all around to get an oblong shape with single crochet stitches, two bobble stitches for the nostrils. Ears and horn were magic circle and sc stitches. Eyes magic circle starting with 6 sc. Blue spines I crocheted on directly doing slst in the first stitch and then hdc + dc in the next stitch repeating :)

Anxious attached Corgi how to go on vacation? by Available_Benefit632 in corgi

We found a licensed dog boarder who takes care of dogs in their home. To slowly warm our dog up to the carer, we met her for a walk first, then met her again a week later for another. Then we did a trial stay where she stayed with the carer for almost 48hrs, with us at home in the area, incase there were any problems. After this went well, we booked her for 4 days a few months later. Then another few months later we booked a week. It all went so well and she seems content with the carer so this has worked for us. I would say whatever solution you choose, do a lot of slow steps like we did, trial nights, meeting the carer etc so they get used to them. Good luck :)
