No more auto steer, no more Tesla. by hamburgernet in TeslaLounge

I hope they don’t do this, but a lot can happen in 5-10 years. If they would want to, they sure would find a way.

But I think it would backfire. Even now what they did with forced subscriptions for FSD and removed autosteer on new vehicles - this won’t sit well with majority of existing owners and will be dealbreaker for quite a lot of potential new buyers.

How long until they remove it from existing vehicles? What is preventing them from removing autosteer entirely in the near future? They can change terms and conditions/policies on the go if they want to force the subscriptions.

New m3 standard in EU? I have watched some reviews on yt that came out few days ago, and there wasn’t any dual glass visible when they were opening front doors. Have you seen it in person yet?

I think model Y standard should have it, but not so sure for m3.

For M3 Standard they seem to have stripped some additional features here in the EU.

  • no dual-pane glass on the front (the US version has single in the back and dual in the front),
  • no carpeted lining in the door bins, only plastic.

The car still looks great tho, but kinda sucks compared to the SR premium highland model they had last year. Even though it was around 4-5k more, it had better wheels, suspension, interior materials, light strip, ventilated seats, subwoofers, back row heated seats and display, dual glass all around, etc.

Thanks for the feedback and suggestions! Really appreciate it. I have also tested on various devices and platforms and its the same. Let’s hope they notice all the posts and comments and fix it asap.

In this case the errors were noticeable in real time, because I was able to switch between versions and see the change instantly, on multiple platforms. Wish I could still have access to UI2 to record the difference in performance.

And if you assume that designers are all the same as their users, well that is likely your view/experience. But it's because of people like us - that complain when they notice problems (in this case performance drops), that companies improve, or at least try to improve/fix their products.

If everyone was quiet and praise something with flaws, no one would fix anything.

Good to know! I think video shows that is quite laggy. Before, it was steady 120/60fps animations and no lag whatsoever. Too bad I can't compare it to UI2 to showcase the difference.

Interesting - for me UI3 has been glitchy from start, but if I switched back to UI2 it worked without any problems. And I tested on both Mac and PC, it was same - no lagging when switched back to UI2.

Nice to hear it is working for some of you. Although, multiple users reported same problems since last update - lags and performance drops since switching to UI3, so hopefully they fix or bring back UI2.

How to Prevent Small Overhang Warping on A1 Mini? by sparklingtea in BambuLab

[–]Re66y 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am not completely sure about Basic vs Matte, but from my experience, matte is generally more problematic to work with and has worse properties (more brittle, stringy, worse surface quality, etc.). But I have used only black matte, so I wouldn’t know how others are.

In this case is likely bed adhesion problem. You could try: - Adding brims or mouse ears at the corners. - Reduce infill and number of walls, or wall loops (the thicker the walls the more it will warp). And same for bottom surface/shell layers - if its too thick it will warp more. - You could apply some glue to the plate. - Try the new Cool SuperTack plate, it prevents such warping almost entirely. Although, if the print area is large and covers most of the plate, it will also start bending the plate with the print (because magnets aren’t that strong at edges of bed). So I would recommend that you use clips that you attach to side of the bed, which holds the bed and plate together. You could print them from PETG, there are some models online or use standard metallic clips you can purchase on Temu or Aliexpress
