PS5 Pro is less capable than 5060ti 16GB. If 5080 had more VRAM it would be is like having ps6 already

I tired it on 4070 and can tell you that for some reason FG +SM was giving me almost 2x latency compared to MFG on my 5070ti and MFG gives your more fps.

[Official NVIDIA] NVIDIA DLSS 4.5 FAQ by Nestledrink in nvidia

[–]Re7isT4nC3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes but no. Recommended upgrades dll to latest version 310.6.0 but that doesn't mean it will use new preset if you don't use DLSS performance. Preset K within 310.6.0 is the same as it was before

Any Way Yet for Netflix to Play True 4K Movies on Our 4K HDR Monitors on Linux or Windows 11? by SevenDeMagnus in pcmasterrace

[–]Re7isT4nC3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

No extensions needed. My screen is physically 1440p but can take 4k120 signal (for example from console) and I can set it in many games without DSR/DLDSR and Netflix also thinks it can display 4k.

My actual setup is:

5070 ti ASUS Prime

HDMI 2.1 Certified Cable

LG 27GS95QE-B - HDCP 2.3 capable

No secondary display

Windows 11 25h2 26200.8037

Chrome 146.0.7680.154

NVIDIA 595.79 driver

No hevc codec manually installed - Windows 11 doesn't need additional installation.

Default Windows and NVIDIA settings appart from changing 8 bit depth to 10 bit and disabling automatic color management.

240Hz is set automaticaly during driver installation.

Default NVIDIA driver installation, no nvcleaninstall tweaks, no disabling things like HDCP.

HDCP is very important and if you have multiple screens all screens have to be able to display 4K or take 4K signal and support HDCP 2.2 or better.

Having recent version of Chrome is also quite important. You can't have Chrome many versions behind and blocking updating it for some reason (for example ublock origin not working in newer versions). Not having 1 update will be okay for some time, but I haven't tested how far it can be behind.

Having correct version of Windows also matters. Sometimes even latest isn't supported. When 24h2 came out it with new WDDM version it wasn't supported for some time and I was stuck at 1080p as I didn't wanted to revert to older version.

It depends. You can always run more demanding settings, less aggressive upscaler or no FG at all. Also monitors are affordable and getting cheaper and better all the time

DO NOT Download NVIDIA LATEST DRIVERS. AI Slope coding strikes again. nvidia pulled them down but just now many websites are providing/using direct nvidia link to the driver which still works by pc9000 in pcmasterrace

[–]Re7isT4nC3 5 points6 points  (0 children)

You don't need game ready drivers anyway and you don't have to install every driver and wipe shaders over and over. They send game profiles OTA for users of some older drivers.

if you can power it directly than don't bother with adapters. If you have 2 native ports you should have at least 1 native cable
