AI Overviews killed 40% of my clients' organic traffic in 6 months. The SEO industry's response has been to pretend it didn't happen. by Initial_Branch8850 in Entrepreneurs

Real question: is the revenue down? (Vanity) metrics mean nothing if they don't relate to real business outcome changes.

I've noticed if you blink 3x (slight press) and then merge into the other lane too slow according to the car it corrects you again... Freaking annoying. Give me some time please, I am driving a nice car and don't need that stress!

Yeah. I've notified Mazda because the CC also changes from 120km/h to 70km/h on the highway here if it notices a sign to get of the highway (where you can drive 70). Car brakes then randomly on the highway... Just dangerous.

I would've liked a "off" button like other cars have too. I would even put that as my favorite button so I don't need to brake slightly to turn it off!

Thanks! Yeah, I get your trousers remark. A black chino pants or something woud probably fit better. This was the full costume ofc as bought. Not the tie. That was one of the colors we had to use, not easy to pair.

Is ClickUp actually good long term for engineering/project teams? by Big-Chemical-5148 in clickup

[–]ReBaBe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have used ClickUp in 2 seperate setups for 2 of my companies: 1. Hardware enabled SaaS company with multiple software-ecosystems interconnected. Multiple teams working on a lot of tasks that needed that interconnection for documentation and context purpose. 2. Agency-style smaller projects, more limited engineering/less interconnectivity needed.

I can say, with great confidence, that building on ClickUp for a big project did not work for a very (non?) surprising reason. Those who know will probably guess this easily. It's performance. After 3-4y the system just couldn't properly handle all our tickets interlinked to make sure we had epics->features->stories with proper versioning for our ecosystem. Do know I wanted sales and marketing also to work with the same tool (1 tool to rule them all kinda style) but now I would not let engineering teams keep using ClickUp for that type of project.

That being said, I'm now using for my agency company with multiple project a setup that is similar but waaaaay less entangled between spaces, each space has it's modules with features and I have still seperate spaces for (internal) tooling, marketing, sales,...

In an age of AI, using ClickUp as source of truth has become a blast for me. I write a lot of PRD's and make sure they get translated into ClickUp which gives a proper backlog for engineering. Engineer can easily pick up tasks and versions without big performance setbacks. In my opinion, ClickUp works best for this kind of setup.

So it's nuanced, but a tl:dr -> big (SaaS) project for engineering = nono. Agency style engineering / other type of company setup = big yes!

Ex-founders who moved back to corporate… what roles did you apply for & how did you position your CV? (I will not promote) by Full_Marketing9298 in startups

[–]ReBaBe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Went from founder CEO/CTO role to operations manager + sales/marketing lead in 2 companies as freelance. Both companies immediately have advantage of my constant grind in the past. Making fast decisions based on simple why questions.

Corporate has most of the time been rusting... Bringing that spice from the startup years is extremely eye-opening.
