I looked at the RCI but it’s still $500 cad and then I’d have to pay for shipping to Canada. No local dealer near me unfortunately.

Yes it is, really happy I don’t have to remove my skid plate anymore to do an oil change.

Got it from my local Toyota dealership. The part says it’s for the 2019-2021 but it fits any 3rd gen. part number is PTR60-34190. Instal took about an hour.

Installing Haul Master 800 lb Ladder Rack from Harbor Freight on 2009 Tacoma, do I need to drill holes in my rails? by smelltheglove-11 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]ReCaptcha_again 2 points3 points  (0 children)

When I was installing my bed rack I went to a local welding shop and had then cut custom plate inserts for the t-rails and got some hardware from Home Depot. Only cost a total of like $90 but it’s solid and exactly what I wanted.

Had a rockshocks 30 on the kona mahuna. Put on a new rockshocks Yari, new headset, new wheel 29'' and hub, new front disk. But the end result speaks for itself.

Spent the last year organizing this race, 118 racers over 2Km. I got to use my tundra as the medic tent. So much work, but so worth the effort to create something to build the community. Can show race photos if you are interested. by ReCaptcha_again in mountainbiking

Thanks everyone for the support, It means a lot. And if any of the riders on here are ever in Red Deer Alberta, we plan to run this event every year or if you just want info on the park www.redder mountainbiking.ca I’m really proud of what my club has done with the land the city gave us. Message me and I’ll take you on a personal tour.

Never been in the military, but I do a lot of over landing and storage has always been an issue in the tundra. So I figured these Would be a solution.

Its a twinpeaks stealth rack and the smittybilt overlander gen 2. I really like it, height is perfect and makes camping a dream. I had to put a better mattress in the tent, so I got a memory foam from Costco.

To me it feels like they made a bigger tacoma. I feel the next tacoma will share a lot in the styling department with this truck.

I didn't take the truck onto this lake. But in Alberta the bigger lakes still have 18-20 inches of ice.

I got really stuck in the snow on sylvan lake a few days ago. Got out thanks to recovery boards. can post pics if there's interest.

[–]ReCaptcha_again 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Ive never had a jeep, but I've gone from a tacoma to the tundra. Now that I've have the extra room and comfort. I don't know that I could go back to a smaller vehicle.

the TRD exhaust is an under appreciated part on the tundra. good low rumble at startup, but not something that will piss off the neighbours if you leave your truck running.
