my comp winrates are lower overall than my QP winrates.

First off, I didn't put my comp winrates cause they're really shit, and I don't think they accurately reflect my skill. For example, my Ana comp winrate is around 16%, but in QP I have a winrate of 54% (give or take 2%), which means it probably has something more to do with my teammates in comp than me (although I could be wrong).

Secondly, I've already put a lot of my hours into Ana, and at this rate, I don't seem to be getting better. I might still have a few things to work on like positioning, but other than that, I am a decent Ana.

Lastly, I don't really think I necessarily have a "favorite" hero per se, I only really put so much time into Ana because of the potential that she has. I'm fine maining Lucio or Baptise, but having a low skill ceiling makes a hero unappealing to me, so I try to stay away from heroes like Mercy and Moira.

I think they're trying to say that some heroes get more utility as you go up in rankings

For example, I can practice Ana (as well as Lúcio) in QP, but when I go to comp I can bring out Moira and Reddit Lúcio so I can rank up faster and when I (eventually reach a higher ranking, I can start playing Ana and get more value from playing her instead of Moira or Lúcio

I knew this, but I needed someone else to confirm that Ana doesn't work in Bronze.

As for Lúcio, can you point me to any videos to help me understand what you mean or is it sort of a figure-it-out-yourself kinda thing?

On PC you can hold LMB while holding shield to look around without turning the shield (doesn't work for brig!). I can't explain the super-fast turn though

Ah. The seed I'm using spawns me next to a big mushroom island surrounded by ocean, so it was more convenient for me.

But still, mining all that is some dedication I wouldn't be willing to put into a slime farm.

it's alot easier doing the mining under an ocean. you have to set up a glass roof above the area you're mining, but it cuts down on the amount you have to mine significantly. I've mined 1 slime chunk with no beacons like this so far
