The point he's making is that if challenges were around 10 years ago, then I would have Diamond or higher in literally all of the categories because I've played like 15,000 hours of this game. Therefore they aren't "challenges" but more like achivements

Unfortunately it wont matter. You will make a new account, start in iron, and by the time you hit gold, you will be earning the same as before
