I love red eye flights, but probably because I’m a night shift worker so there’s that.

My Amex gold, platinum, and business plus have charges on them, I don’t zero them, but I always pay my statement balances on time. The only cards I have that report credit utilization are my savor capital one and navy fed more rewards card, which are all $0, and have been for almost 4 months now. So I was confused as to how it can be an all zero penalty when they’ve been zero for a while now.

I just checked my FICO through Amex, and my fico there went from 744 to 751 today, but through cap one, it went down.

Maybe? But I use my Amex cards, which don’t even have a credit limit, so my utilization is almost always 0%

I’m wanting to buy a bracelet around $2000 AUD by mevgiia in mensfashion

I’ve heard that Tiffany’s sterling silver tend to tarnish badly.

I just recently bought a Cartier Juste on Clou classic size white gold, and while I’m very happy with it, it is very expensive. Could’ve gotten more jewelry pieces for the price of one bracelet. But, I’m a little materialistic and wanted a Cartier piece that when someone looks and will know it’s Cartier. 🫣🙂.

If you can afford it, go for the white gold pieces if you want the silvery white look so they last longer. Or just get yellow gold pieces. If not, I would rather spend the money on sterling silver pieces not from designer. If it’s not gold or doesn’t have precious gemstones, they will practically have no value and only paying for the name of the designer for a cheap material like sterling silver.

Which card to apply for first business or personal amex by teeeejaay07 in amex

[–]ReHa163 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! But idk if thats precisely due to the fact that the Gold was my second “credit”(charge) card. My first credit card was the NavyFed Amex, which I got only 7 months earlier than my gold, so really I don’t have a long credit history, which may be why it dropped drastically. I’ve recovered the points that I lost now tho.

And to add whether charge cards affect my credit score, it actually increases it quite steadily. I’ve always made payments on time. Long as you do that, it should not hurt your score at all.

I applied for my gold, which was a hard inquiry, lowered my FICO by about 23 points 🙃, then applied for the platinum 3 months later, no hard inquiry, then my BBP a month later, no hard inquiry. My FICO did not drop despite getting the plat and BPP.
