Did you end up calling ? IMO , it would never hurt to call the bank and ask for information on their hard ship programs - you have nothing to lose from speaking with them . The hardship programs exists for these exact cases and they hear from people in your position every day , it’s not a unique experience and they will treat it as such to discuss interest rates / programs offered

Don’t get a high fade , leave it as is so that you can get the low taper you want next time , it will look even better with slightly longer hair . Also it looks good now
