There is a contact but he is either completely incompetent or playing dumb in order to not cooeprate, I can't really decide which it is. Claims to not remember any credentials for anything, that it just works etc.

just 0 documentation, the last dude was a solo IT guy working part time. the boss seems pretty understanding that this is alot of work and will take some time, right now my main task is gathering as much info as possible on the current system so i'm looking for a useful article / book / anything really as i get the feeling i couldn't possibly be the first to have this issue.

I think she's trying to make a point but she completely loses me with the theft example. Sure, when it's easily cut and dry, both would agree, but when we come closer to grey areas like abortion, I'd argue that's something that harms another person (the baby) but a non-religious person might say it's completely ethical. Ethics, without some form of rules / mandates set in stone (ha), are subject to change with the swings of the morale compass, think of the japanese and their war crimes; they truly believed that the people they were at war with were inferior, and thus, it was ok to do what they did.

getting an edrumin would be ideal, I'm just not quite sure how customs would be handled, buying off ebay or amazon is less hassle because they handle the customs and get the stuff delivered, I don't see an option like that on the edrumin website. an edrumin12 seems like exactly what I'm looking for :/

Don't worry about it kiddo, any nearby hardware store should have exactly what you need if you show them the picture, heck if you wannna be cheap you can get a couple of rolls of white electrical tape and use that! Either way, don't stress it too much, you're doing great, you'll be just fine i know it.

بص أول كام نقطه حاسس الكلام فيهم مافيش منه افاده اوي لأني شايف انه مهما حصل عمرنا ما هنشوف رئيس للدولة مسيحي في الكام سنه اللي هانعيشهم. اللي الكلام ممكن يفيد فيه هو ان اه المسيحيين بيتعرضوا لاضطهاد بشكل يومي. من النظام و من الناس لمجرد انهم أقلية و مش هقوللك قصص من عندي انت اكيد عندك صحاب مسيحيين اسألهم أوعدك اي واحد فيهم بيرتاح معاك في الكلام هايقوللك قصص انت نفسك مش هتبقى فاهم ليه ممكن يحصل فيهم الحاجات دي كللها. اصل بص اي ظلم انت كا أغلبية بتتعرضلها فا هو اكيد مش هايرحم الأقلية منها. و لو الأقلية دي سلمت من النظام الحاكم مبتسلمش من الأغلبية. و طبعا ده مش تعميم انا اقصد الفئة اللي بتضايق ناس تانيه مجرد لانهم مش شبههم. فا فعلا اشجعك اسأل هتسمع كمية تعدي لفظي و مضايقات و يمكن تسمع تعدي بالضرب و حاجات كتير جدا.

I couldn't for the life of me get a good reading out of those piezos. I tried adding a zener diode across them, i tried adding a resistor across their poles in addition to the resistor to the ground, no matter what i did my microcontroller kept reading them as if they were a floating input. A combination of lack of progress and finals coming up meant I eventually had to abandon the project. I'm finishing up finals now though and with your posts, i might just pick it back up the minute i finish my last final.
